ok i just nak share my experinece from the 1st time site seeing to the end of my trip. i had my small family gathering there on 2-3 january 2024. my 1st time went there was on december, for surveying the site for our family gathering.
1st no obvious sign or direction of where the reception or office is.
staff: then we were attended to a staff name Irwan (male, malay, tanned skin) without a welcome greeting or smile we enter the office and ask about the place, however it was very disappointed as the only answer he gave was owh can refer to website. we ask about room , how small or big, can fit how many, price and all same answer given , you can read from website. and the guy didnât even have effort to stand or open up the website for us.
then we ask about hi-tea and breakfast , what is the menu.. same ârefer to websiteâ
is this how you make sale? when people drove all the way to your site, cant you atleast stand up, open up the website show and EXPLAIN! Not everything ask us to see there.. we know we can see from website but we want to know if it is suitable for our family who is elderly or not. we ask if we can book, he said oh book from website.. what is the function of him being the 1st line of the camp i not sure. with his muka masam and not friendly.
initially i dont want to take this site but because of other places is not very suitable for my family, the. we just have to go for it.
then on the day of trip, my cousins came first.. and registered to him. but he gave the wrong type of units. initially we booked 4 nutpse and 3 lothso.. but change to 4 nutpse and 2 lothso.. but he gave 3 lothso.. so i was wondering how u handle ur website.. if the person we deal on the site dose not even comunivate with your camp management? but that is not a big issue.. so i dont really mind
but from this incident i found out that the guy we messaging all this while from the website is different fron the resort management it self. so there are some miscommunication between them.
then it come to the hi tea session. it is call hi tea we are expecting some hot drink will be available, so we ask irwan if hot drink will be provide which is not a big deal because we can make out own drink. but irwanâs attitude is what trigger us. he is so rude, saying we dont order anything how should they know. and they say usually the client will request before check in. but how r we suppose to know? and your side never ask for anything as well. u can say sorry we dont provide, since it was not requested however there is a kettle that we can make our own. it is so simple. but he keep want to blame on us because we dont request, when we only asking.
then at night time i tried to call because we emergency want to add one more room but he purposefully reject my call for 5 time untill i text please pick up i want to add room, only then he pick up.
place : the place is very nice and suitable for elderly to relax and gather. everything is walking distance. room is acceptable since it is like a camping kind of vibe.
toiletry: the camp does not provide any toiletries at all. only one bottle of soap but not sure if it is from management or someone left it cause some room does not have it. also towel. some room have some doesnât. and we have to ask the staff and they ask us back how many? cant they provide the same amount as the pax in room as designed?
price: reasonable i think
food: acceptable, but could be better if they provide drinking water like water fountain or cuckoo since sometimes it can get very hot. they dont provide place to put our cups and plate. i think they want us to clean ourselves, but with that price i dont think that is necessary since we are not really camping.. it is camping resort what.
i do recommend people to go. but please irwan has really need to learn how to deal with client...

We stayed in Rock Garden from 4 March to 5 March 2024. It was a group retreat.
The place is so beautiful and breathtaking. The swimming pool in Himalaya area has vibrant view and attractive for the kids. Not too big and not too small.
The river is clean and we enjoyed bathing in the calm river. However please bring the aqua shoes for your safety in the river cause there are a lot of rock before you could go to the sandy area.
Unfortunately , the chalet that we rented was overrated and overpriced. We rented Cube Home No 3 and no 4. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. The bedsheet and comforter were clean and had fresh smell. Sadly, for the price of RM250 , there was no mirror at all in the Cube Home No 3 and no hook and rack for hanging out clothes or towels in the chalet.
One of our team members who rented Apic Home 1 also had problem with their air-conditioner. Imagine with the hot weather, the aircond was not functioning well and they had to wait for 3-4 hours for the issues to be resolved. There was no technician on site to fix the aircond and they need to wait for the technician from the outside to come. There was no portable fans provided while waiting.
Another big issues that we faced for our group booking when one of the rooms that we booked manually in the Whatsapp was not available. They did not key in the booking online. As a result there was other guests who book the same room and they let go the room to the other guest who came earlier. The only solution they can offered was to refund the booking? Just imagine our team member came all the way from Selangor to find out the room was taken by someone else while the booking has been fully paid and they have to squeeze themselves in the other rooms with other team members.
We also have to shared the remote control for air-conditioner between the 2 homes (Cube Home 3&4). The staff asked us to find ourselves the remote in one of the Cube Homes because according to her, the previous guests did not return the remote. There was no remote found.
It was so funny for the price of RM250 there was no remote control provided for the aircond and the guest had to search the remote for ourselves?
There was also NO water dispenser provided at the dining hall to boil the water at dining hall. Luckily we brought enough water from home. No plain water provided too during breakfast. Luckily the breakfast is satisfactory. The sambal nasi lemak is delicious Make sure you brought enough snacks and food as well because from main road, it took another 15 mins to arrive at the campsite. So imagine you are hungry and you have to go out from the campsite to find food. I suggest the management open a small shop or give way to vending machine to sell snacks or beverages.
Traffic could be congested at the area especially during checking out time. We planned to go uphill to park our car at M House area to take photos before exiting but we were stuck in the middle of the T-junctions (from the reception area). We have no choice to exit just to give way to the other vehicles and went down the hill.As a result we missed our photography session with the group. The weather was scorching hot and pity the kids if we have to climb and walk uphill and that's why we planned to bring our car but maybe that was not a good timing to go up there.
We hope to see more improvements from the management side. Since the place is always fully book and went viral, the expectations from the guests are...
Read moreHonestly, this place is interesting, with a very beautiful landscape, river etc. However, the service was a little frustrating. My wife and I spent a night a week ago in one of the houses (Chalet A Home). What's given to us instead was a very untidy house, as if it was still under renovation work with unfinished paint, inorganised position of beds and lots of dust, dirts and rubbish on the floor (No. 2, A House).
We arrived at 7:30 pm after informing the office that we would be late because of the heavy rain. However, we had to wait for more than 1/2 hour at the reception because all 3 night staff were out for dinner. But, the worst thing was the bedsheets. They were so dirty, ugly and nauseating will so many stains and spots everywhere. You can expect what they were. We could not help but to clean and sweep the room ourselves, re-arrange the bed and cover the bedsheets with our own clothes and towels. The night staff were all gone & the reception was dark and closed by the time.
We checked out the following day. The duty staff was quick in sending the reminder for check out before 12 pm by sending mesage as early as 9 am. But the overall service was lousy. I told my dissatisfaction to the staff at the reception during check out but the answer given was that I should be in House no. 3, not House no. 2. What?!!! The key for House 2 was given by their own night duty staff and I have no control for that. I also asked the staff whether they change the mattress after every customer. They said they did, but not after every customer! I think with the rate they are charging, this is a very unprofessional practice.
Anyway and not suprisingly, no apology given whatsoever. I waited for a week just in case I get any response from the management but none. So, I'm writing my review here so that they can be more professional and honest in the future. Customers are willing to pay but it shoud be to the standard...
