Hotel Intan Jugra — Hotel in Selangor

We had two nights here last week and were impressed with the comfort and cleanliness, not sure what to expect as some small town hotels leave a bit to be desired. Free wifi in all the rooms, a little slow, but definitely usable. No fridge or kettle in room, but it is a budget hotel, with access to hot and cold water in the corridor with cups and mugs available. That cold water was a delight after a day out in the heat. Never saw anyone in the corridor so could pop out in pj's no problem. The hotel left two packets of 3-in-one coffee in the room, but we had taken our own coffee, sugar and kettle. Beds indeed comfortable and although the wetness of the bathroom floor after a shower was a little annoying, the inclusion of a pair of plastic slippers meant you could dry your feet and step into them so you didn't step out of the bathroom with wet feet.||||It would have been great if all the staff were trained to be familiar with restaurants and sights in the area. It was strange to us that many of the cafes/kopi tiams (including the one next to the hotel) don't open til 10am but we did find an Indian place way down the street (had to drive) for breakfast. We did ask one of the staff before arriving about the possibility of dim sum breakfast, which was apparently in Jenjarom about 15 minutes drive away. We did find a Chinese roadside restaurant on the road to Jenjarom one evening and it was very good. Don't know the name of it, but the phone number on the bill is 0166522829. Second night we ate at Viking Seafood Restaurant on the water, almost at the Beggar Chicken Restaurant in Bukit Jugra. The ambiance by the side of the water was very nice, but the food was better at the first place.||||Would definitely stay there when we head to that area again. Rate was RM108...

I stayed there 1 night with my family. Although the hotel is located next to the road, overall it is quite quiet at night and we slept soudly throughout the night. As budget hotel, they only provide toilet roll paper in the bathroom and 2 complimentary bottled drinks. However, the room and the bathroom is very clean, the bed is very comfortable with 2 pillows. You can get hot or cold drinking water from the water dispenser provided by the hotel. ||||However, the whole bathroom will be completely wet when you have your bath because the shower is in the middle of the bathroom and there are no shower curtains. There is no lift in the hotel, so be prepare to climb a few steps.||||Hotel staffs are very helpful and freindly. Overall...

Stayed for 1 night and found it via TripAdvisor. Walk-in rates are cheaper than booking over the Internet. Standard double rm98 nett Walk-in. Rooms are spacious enough with wardrobe n cupboard and bedside lights. 32" flat screen TV with limited channels. Space saving table for dining or make up. Room service menu from the restaurant next door, serving a varied menu. 5 minutes drive to centre of Banting and 15 minutes drive to Jenjarom. Plenty of parking outside hotel. Would stay here again and recommend . |Only issue was our shower had a problem...
