Le Garden Hotel — Hotel in Shah Alam

Don't get ripped off by going to this hotel. It's definitely not worth your money! You could have gone to somewhere 3 times better and pay much lesser! The so-call new Annexe building is a horror! The room is so freaking small 10sqm and not 16sqm as advertised! It was freaking stinking and you could actually get heat stroke staying there more than 10 mins. The startup of the aircon actually took more than an hr to cool down the temperature! ||There is hardly any walk space, and you may have to sleep with your luggage or backpack! You will be lucky if you need not sleep facing the toilet bowl that is just less than 1m away.||The toilet is disgusting not properly clean up seemed like someone had just finished his bath and hr ago. It's design is a disaster, you have to walk like a crab to to relieve yourself.. walk further in to get the towels. You will be lucky if the towel you pick is not the floor mat as it all look the same! You are not facing the mirror when brushing teeth as the mirror is at the side! Be sure you get an extra toilet roll because after you finish your bath the roll will be drown. Remember not to bath at night else you will hear little droplets accompanying you the whole night. The shower placement is so bad that you have to srick to the wall while taking a bath so either the angle is right and the water won't escape to the bed as the toilet door is not tight fit. The shower is so low that you have bend throughout til you are done. If you are taller than 1.5m you are damn lucky. The toilet has an opening at the top so do remember to off the aircon when u bath else you will be freaking cold even you set the heater to the max!||Feeling bored at night you better equipped yourself with magazine/books. As there is only 2 channels and with the TV position you may break your neck in an hour time.||When feedback to the reception they explained that it is the booking agent that had shown wrong room size information. Shouldn't it be your responsibility to ensure the information is updated and if not pre-empt the customer that situation? Staff further explained that the same price they have 2 types of sizes 10sqm and 15sqm. This had created more frustration! How to justify that!? So when and who do you give a bigger room? The fact is 16sqm is booked shouldn't the staff be giving the 15sqm instead? The price is much higher then the old building which is also 10/15sqm. Again how do you justify that?! New building! This type of design, size and service it's a huge ripped off! Pushing the blame to booking agent does not even resolve the basic integrity and services provided. They had received a lot of complaints about this so did the management going to do anything about this or they plan to rip off more customer enough to redo a reno? This management sucks! If you can't do an honest customer oriented business please move on!||Seriously.. do not even consider this even you have no other...

I stayed here twice last month on a business trip. The location is easy to find and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and easy. My room is clean, bright with everything I need during my stay. The beds are comfy and the WiFi is fast with 20+ Mbps. There are plenty of free parking space within the hotel. Here are a few things I really like about the hotel and its surroundings. A spacious lobby that is nicely decorated, and with plenty of chairs and tables available for you to meet your friends and business associates. You can get beverages and snacks from the vending machines next to the reception. A microwave and free drinking water are available in the lobby as well. There are many restaurants nearby and one directly opposite the hotel serves typical Malaysian foods such as roti canai, mee goreng, tea tarik, and etc. I believe they are open almost 24 hours. A shopping mall with the AEON supermarket and many shops in it is within a 5-minute walk. A nice golf club with swimming pools is nearby if you feel like playing golf. You can also jog around the beautiful big park next to the golf club. At the end of the day, you can access the sky bar located at the top of the hotel for some pool games and drinks. Seriously. The only reason why any foreigners would stay there is for a specific purpose. Myself, to go to a nearby local doctor known for healing impossible. Orange hotel is usually the first choice but since it was fully booked, I tot I settled for this one.|Upon arriving at night, the check in process was swift and easy. What caught my eye though is there were rates available for 2-3 hours. Also the air on and TV remotes were handled together with the room card. Failure to return these 3 items would result to a lost of your $50 ringgit deposit.|The rooms were small and looked exactly what a quick stop motel would look like. The cleanliness was to expectation though. |What was really bad about the hotel is the walls and doors are almost no barrier to sound. I was unlucky enough to have some inconsiderate or forgetful hotel guest in the other room that set their alarm at 5am and didn't turn it off. Yup!! So it was ringing for 5am onwards. Those people are probably there for the same reason as me, to see a nearby doctor. |Anyway to summarize, the location of the hotel is ok, the rooms are clean and the price is worth it. First choice for me though would be Orange. Oh yes, and pray hard you don't meet forget or inconsiderate people that leave their alarm clocks...
