Because of the lack of tourists, we got a spartan wooden hut(queen bed+mosquito net, some shelving and a mirror) right in front of the beach with a beautiful postcard-worthy sea view. The shower pressure was good and the water was refreshing. ||Sure...there's cracks in the bathroom walls and that picturesque beach right out front isn't as nice to swim in as it looks(due to all the dead coral), Aida(the owner's mother) was always around to check up on us or strike up a friendly chat. Read moreThis place is a great place to stay on Tioman. We had the bungalow with aircon and a small terrace looking over the sea. The bungalow was big enough with a comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was basic but has everything you need. Unfortunately it smelled a bit like urine. There's a washing line on the terrace, which is very use full for wet bathing suits etc. The owner and his wife were very kind and helpful. Before we came we communicated via whatsapp. They always reacted so quickly which was super nice. There's a water machine at the reception where you can buy 1,5 lt (a little less in real 😉) for 1 rm. We advice you to do the snorkeling tour for 85 rm and if your guide is Ali, you'll definitely have a great day😀. One thing that can be improved: put some more hooks in the bungalow to hang things. Now there was only one strip of hooks on the inside...
