An unforgettable stay in paradise! We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel in the Maldives – a true slice of paradise. From the moment we landed at Malé Airport, everything was perfectly organized: a comfortable, well-managed boat transfer brought us to the island in just an hour and a half. The welcome was magical: a fresh coconut in hand, chill music playing at sunset… It was the perfect start to our dream vacation. Just 30 minutes after arriving, we were already witnessing the mesmerizing daily shark feeding show right on the hotel beach. A truly breathtaking sight we looked forward to each evening. The activities offered are varied, authentic, and expertly run. Swimming with sharks, turtles, manta rays, or even whale sharks – every excursion is listed on a board and easy to join. We were lucky enough to try almost all of them, and each one created unforgettable memories. A special mention for the sunrise fishing trip – a magical experience in the golden morning calm. We caught a swordfish, which the hotel staff later cooked for us that same evening. It was an incredible moment we’ll never forget. The all-you-can-eat buffet is excellent and diverse (fresh fish, meat, pasta, rice, salads, desserts…) and very reasonably priced. A different fish is served each evening. The à la carte restaurant, a little more upscale, offers truly exceptional cuisine – worthy of fine dining. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and very pleasant to stay in. The spa is a true haven of peace – the masseuses have magic hands. We went three times, and each session was pure bliss. The island is full of charming surprises: lovely shops, grocery stores, a stunning beach, a bikini beach where you can swim freely, and fun evening entertainment (traditional Maldivian music and dance, hilarious crab races…). And finally, a huge thank you to the entire staff, who went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness. Always smiling, caring, and thoughtful – we were even given gifts and drinks as we left. We truly felt cherished from start to finish. This stay will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you for these unforgettable moments… We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll recommend this magical place to all our loved ones.

Very nice hotel on a beautiful island. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there was enough free water every day. The whole staff was very helpful and very friendly, you see honest smiling faces everywhere. The food was very tasty, there was a huge variety of different meals on the buffets every day, also free tea, coffee and water. The hotel is quite huge, with several different buildings, but it never felt too crowded. We booked 2 excursions, manta snorkeling (no luck, there were no mantas) and nurse shark snorkeling (this one was awesome, i can highly recommend). The hotel has its own speedboat and can arrange transports quite flexible, so you are not dependent of the public speed boats. We didnt know that before and could spontaneously stay one more night and get an early speedboat to the airport instead of having a transit night in Male. The island is beautiful. There is a small village with some souvenir shops, a cafe and some more guest houses on the northeast part, and the rest of the island is covered in a beautiful jungle, which gets cleaned every day. Its beautiful to walk there and enjoy the nature. The beaches are all very nice and clean, there's plenty of room, privacy , sunbeds and shadow for everyone. As long as you don't swim in the harbor almost every beach on this island can be used with a bikini. The house reef is beautiful and still quite intact, with plenty of fishes. Especially when you go over the reef border on high tide (not possible on low tide). There are a few free events on the hotel like a local drum, sing and dance show, a crab race, a daily shark feeding, or some afternoon tea. There's free dart, billard and table soccer, and there's a playground are for small kids. People who are worried about generator noises as mentioned in older reviews: the generator was moved to a new power house next to the harbor, so there's no more permanent noise in the middle of the hotel area. I can highly recommend staying here. If you are looking for an affordable stay in paradise you have found the right place.

We had been there in the last week of Jan, 2018 and stayed there for 2 days. There was a person waiting to receive us at the airport. They have a counter at the airport itself. They arranged a speed boat transfer feom the airport to the hotel on sharing basis. It was an hour and a half journey. After reaching Thinadhoo the welcome was really warm. The check in was absolutely smooth. We had rooms facing the pool. The property is just awesome. The restaurant is on the beach and each and every staff at the restaurant are extremely courteous and helpful. Tbe buffet is good. The hotel arranged an evening snacks party on the beach itself. The guests came to know each other. The owner of the hotel was personally present and he was very cordial. The beach is serene and virgin. We walked all around the island and it takes about 45 mins. Its very very safe and the people on the island are very helpful though there are just about 120 residents on the island. There are few shops where you can buy mementos and souvenirs. The hotel has a very good cafe which has a table football and pool board. The mocktails here are just fabulous. There is a gymnasium, a small pool and spa. There are arrangements for Dolphin rides but not always. You can do snorkelling. There are hammocks and swings too. The views are just mindblowing. It was really painful leaving such a beautiful place. We really felt that two days is a very small time for staying here.

We were on vacation at Plumeria Maldives, a family - two adults and a 14-year-old daughter in December 2021. And the whole first week we were in a shock - a pleasant shock from the quality of the relaxation and service! First of all, the fact that we saw our suitcases at the airport, and next time in the hotel room. We, after an hour and a half of transfered by boat, were received on the territory of the hotel as dear guests - we were seated in the shade, given wet hand towels and treated with fresh watermelon juice. While we were taking a breath from the road, very quickly and imperceptibly we completed all the formalities for settling. The room we got was bright and perfectly clean. Although not with seaview. But incredibly packed with all sorts of useful attributes - bathrobes, slippers, a huge amount of hygiene and cosmetics, umbrellas in case of rain, combs, toothbrushes, a sewing kit and many other little things, although this is a 3-star hotel. The very cozy and well-groomed area of the hotel deserves compliments. But I would especially like to praise how the beach vacation is organized. There are sun loungers and awnings around the island, which are abundant for all guests. There is a stand of beach towels near the reception, which you can borrow in unlimited quantities. This is a great practice. No need to dry your towel - there are always fresh and dry blue and white hotel towels. We had problems with sunbathing - it turned out that our suncream was out of date. And at the hotel we were provided with suncream, after sunburn cream and even mosquito repellent! The food was great! Very tasty and varied. We all became fatter from such an abundance, although we took 2 meals a day! It was especially pleasant to receive omelettes or fried fish from the hands of the cook Imra - he is not only an excellent cook, but also a very positive and friendly person. It was pleasant to exchange a joke with him before the meal. And the rest of the staff is so friendly and helpful, as if our arrival is the main event in their life! Wherever we saw them, we were always approached with a smile and willingness to help. Any questions were resolved instantly! I remember the incredibly friendly and charming Tharuka - the girl at the reception. And our the maid boy Taruke, who managed to clean our room in good faith, and pleased us with a towel sculpture in the form of elephants) Thank you for the excellent attitude and help! But I would like to express special recognition and gratitude from our family to Mr. Azeez, the main manager of the hotel. It's incredible how he could arrange our vacation with care and comfort! All days were filled with events and pleasures. We watched shark feeding every day. All kinds of activities were arranged for us. The crab races were especially memorable. Kayaks, stand-up paddles, a gym and much more were available to us at no extra charge. And behind every event we saw the participation and presence of Mr. Azeez - he was constantly among the vacationers, he knew most by name. On the last evening we had a festive dinner on the ocean shore - an unforgettable experience and memory! And on the day of departure, we were allowed to comfortably get in our rooms before the transfer, which is 16.00, and not pull out with our suitcases at 12, as it's normal everywhere. What more, we already miss this place and the whole Plumeria team. Thank you all so much! We highly recommend this place...

First of all I will start with the fact that everything is very organized, from meeting and greeting with some refreshments and a cold towel to cool down to the last day of the holiday when they organized a special dinner surprise. ||The personal is very friendly and respectful, they treat everyone kindly, welcoming and with a lot of care! You can tell it comes from the heart and not because they have to. ||We stayed in the Garden Villa, the room was spacious, clean, decorated and comfortable. Everyday we had our room arranged and cleaned without us having to ask. Again very careful with everything they do, as we celebrated a birthday they organized a surprise in our room and a birthday cake which was unexpected but highly appreciated and pleasant. ||The territory is clean with a lot of “instagrammable” places, it is a small island, but every corner you would go you would see something wonderful. Very safe and quiet atmosphere if you choose to walk around the hotel as well, you can truly relax and connect with the nature. ||The trip from the airport to the hotel was by a speed boat, which took about 2 hours but it was very enjoyable as you can watch the sea and other islands, which again was organized by the hotel. ||We booked breakfast and dinner, and if we knew that the food would be so delicious, healthy and varied we would have booked the lunch as well. They have live cooking corners as well. I would say everyone is passionate in what they do and they do everything with love. ||We also enjoyed the trips they have and plan, which are very affordable and definitely worth the time and everything. Also you get videos and photos professionally taken at no extra cost while you are on the trip being it underwater or on an uninhabited island with a drone that captures every moment. Thank you Yoosuf for the amazing videos and for being an exceptional guide! ||I don’t have enough words to thank the whole team here, and the person who manages everything and who had the idea and made the effort of organizing everything so well. ||Many thanks to Lakmal from the Restaurant as well, and the girl greeting us every time (unfortunately I don’t have her name, but she was always very kind and welcoming too) Lakmal took care of us every time we had breakfast or dinner, remembered the place we were always sitting and was steaming and preparing everything from the moment we stepped in and always there is we needed anything. He made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. Exceptional service. Thank you Lakmal! ||Thank you for the reception team as well, always helpful and friendly. Taking care of everything, whether we needed WiFi as my phone had some issues always disconnecting, informing us of every step for our departure. Special thanks to Sudar, Kasun, Vishara and Su. You made us feel like home! ||You can also enjoy table tennis and pool around the reception area, and there is a corner where you can grab a book and read if you wish. ||A round of applause for the Plumeria team! Heaven on earth is possible with the effort of...

Location: We stayed in the super deluxe rooms and it was about a 1-2 minute walk to the hotel beach and a 5 minute walk from there to bikini beach. Cleanliness: Very clean with good covid protocols. Cleaning offered twice daily. Wifi: The wifi is good when it’s working, but you have to have some understanding that you’re on a remote island pulling wifi from the main land. For where you are, it’s very good. My wife had video calls for work throughout the week and she did not have any issues aside from one morning when the power went out, but it came back on within a few minutes. Food/Hospitality: The chefs are top notch and do an incredible job every day with trying to give you a variety of options during each meal. Facilities/Room Amenities: the facilities are good and very clean offering complimentary stand up paddle boards and kayaks to use. You can walk around the island in about 20 minutes and snorkeling is a whole new world just off the shores of the beach. If you venture off to the end of the reef then it’s just WOW. Value for Price: The price is very good compared to some of the other islands.

Overall we had a very good time at this property. The only reason I will not give it the best review is because of the General Manager, Mr. Azeez. If you do not fit the criteria of the type of guest he wants there, then you are not really important to him. It’s sad. We met some guests that were vegan who initially called the property prior to booking to ensure that they would be able to accommodate their dietary needs. When they were there, they were yelled at by Mr. Azeez because they did not give him notice of the food needs and they were told that they would not be making them food unless they told him directly the same day what they wanted. TERRIBLE customer service!!! On another occasion, we witnessed him sitting at a table in the dining room eating when he called a chef over just to yell at him in an extremely disrepectful and condescending manner about the food. This is no way to treat your staff or any other human being. Aside from the ridiculous issue he was yelling at the cook about, he lacked any sort of professionalism as he sat with his head stuck up lecturing his staff in front of guests. We witnessed him being kind to certain guests and being very dismissive towards other guests. It was very disappointing to see that this place is being run by a narcissistic individual who mistreats his staff and does not respect all guests. All of the other staff we encountered were night and day different in regards to their attention to detail and how they welcome you at every meal. To hotel manager, Mr. Kumar, the dining room supervisor, Dilush, the waiter, Tharaka, and one of the cooks, Imran, thank you SO SO much from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and hospitality and making us feel so welcomed. They were highlights to our stay, went above and beyond to make EVERY guest feel special and the ones who deserve the...
