I stayed at Ithaa Beach for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was clean and cozy, with a super cool air-conditioner and soft blankets (they even provided an extra one upon request). After a beach outing, I asked for a broom to clean the sand, but the room service staff, Abul @ Khairul, came instead and cleaned everything so thoroughly — his service was exceptional.
Breakfast was great every day, but what made it extra special was the sunrise breakfast arranged by Abul @ Khairul. He went the extra mile to set up a beautiful table by the beach — such a thoughtful and memorable touch! He even tried giving us variety breakfast such pancakes and toast.
The little garden area with a swing in front of the hotel added a charming and peaceful vibe. We were also given access to a private beach at Ithaa Seaview, which was a huge bonus as we could comfortably enjoy the sea in our bikinis without walking to the public beach. While at Ithaa Seaview, another helper named Farid kindly offered to take photos for us — such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our day even more special.
There were marts and cafes around. Special mention to Tundi Café nearby, which is also owned by the same management. The food was absolutely delicious, and even when we were hungry late at night after 10pm, we could head there to indulge.
As two female travelers, we felt extremely safe and well taken care of. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming — it truly felt like being part of a family. The owner of the property was also incredibly helpful, arranging everything we needed from jet car rides to souvenir shopping and even buggy service to carry our luggage.
After a not-so-great experience at a previous hotel, staying at Ithaa Beach felt like a breath of fresh air. There’s nothing to complain about — we were genuinely happy and satisfied.
100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Guraidho, Maldives. It’s a hidden gem with heartwarming...
Read moreThe place was overbooked and the owner took us to another place that was not a hotel and looked more like a friend's house, where someone took our softdrinks and bottle of water from the fridge. The next day someone picked us up at 8am and took us to his hotel. We were there until 10am waiting to check in. There was only one guy working as stuff and he was preparing a room for us that was not the one we had booked through the app, it was a cheaper and worse quality room. All this time we waited in the courtyard without a bathroom, I had to ask one of the other guests for their bathroom. Also during these hours he did not answer our calls or our messages. The excuse was that he was ona 4 hours excursion. Finally, my partner and I decided to simply leave the place and look for another hotel as they did not intend to check us in in the next few hours. Only at 6 pm the owner answered our messages asking if we had checked out, implying that he had not even noticed that no one checked us in. The whole situation was very irregular.
Also when we considered looking for another hotel we looked through booking app, and surprisingly they still had a room available, when in reality they were completely overbooked. We checked in Google Maps reviews and realised we were not the first to go through this annoying situation. The truth is that we were very frustrated to enduring this mistreatment and also pay the 320 dollars that he wanted to charge us for a night in his hostel. Finally we went to the Rosy Villa Hotel, a hotel of muuuuch better quality and for half the price, not counting that in this new Rosy Villa Hotel they offered the same excursion for 35 USD and in Ithaa See...
