HEAVEN ON EARTH - BEST RESORT IN THE MALDIVES & OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Look no further and book Joali Being! Me and my husband have extensively travelled the world to exotic countries and have stayed in luxury hotels however Joali Being is the BEST resort we have EVER stayed in. The service is EXCEPTIONAL! Joali Being is a uniquely relaxing holiday in a tranquil and purpose-designed resort. Joali Being is also the first and only exclusively wellness-focused retreat in the Maldives, which makes it very special and unforgettable.

The food Richard Siahaan and his highly skilled team create the most incredible food we have tasted, extremely healthy and fresh. The presentation of the gourmet dining is very artistic and well thought out. They have a fantastic understanding of the tasting palates for all guests. You can enjoy the speciality cuisine and creative dining served in different beautiful settings, each featuring distinctive culinary creations enhanced by the hotels matching ambience and mood. Your tastebuds will be tantalised as the flavours of the food is just extraordinary.

The Areka and Kaashi Spa is ultra luxurious and state of the art. The treatments provided are life changing. I would highly recommend the Watsu, Mind Therapy, Four Pillars Massage, Shirodara, Sound Therapy. Please request for GAA to undertake the above treatments she is an absolute angel and healed my back problem which I have suffered for over 3 years.

The villas have the WOW factor extremely spacious with high ceilings, the most fluffiest pillows and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We wish we could have taken this bed back home with us! The room itself is very Zen and very aesthetically pleasing, the pictures do not do it justice. Each interior and exterior design in each room has been thought out to the most highest of levels which makes your never want to leave, the outdoor pool we spent a lot of time here too as it was breathtaking and private. Our villa really was a sanctuary, where ultimate comfort and elegance artfully combined with cutting-edge technology. We had a daily service including turndown service. The villa has elegant interiors and modern amenities with exceptional attention to detail.

PLEASE REQUEST FOR RAZAN AS YOUR JADUGAR

Razan our Jadugar - what can I say! An EXTREMELY highly skilled individual who wears his heart on his sleeve! Razan made Joali Being feel like it was our home. He went above and beyond in every aspect to make our stay a life changing experience. He gives out an extremely positive energy that resonates on the guests. He arranged everything for us from dinners to marine activities to spa treatments and even the most incredible cinema under the stars. Razan works admirably and made it the best trip of our lives. The service provided was IMPECCABLE, everything is beyond perfection at the Joali Being.

The marine life is beautiful at Joali Being. We learnt so much about conservation and saw the most heart warming turtle hatching. Along with many sharks, rays and turtles. Visiting hanifaru bay is an absolute must. We saw atleast fifty manta rays and it was the best marine experience ever. We also witnessed a turtle hatching which was very special.

The beach is just breathtakingly beautiful, all guests are provided with their own personalised Bicycles too so you can explore the island. We would see baby sharks, large variety of fishes, eagle rays and many more whilst exploring.

Joali Being has such a special place in our hearts! It was been a life changing experience for both us and we have enjoyed our transformative journey since we arrived at Joali Being. We have returned back home and have adopted a healthier lifestyle, the chefs kindly provided us with the recipes too so we can continue our wellbeing journey. We feel completely rejuvenated and energised and not to mention healthy! We genuinely cannot wait to return, it is definitely our home away from home. Thank you JOALI BEING for an unforgettable journey...

First, I’ve got to start with MC. Honestly, he made the trip for us. Calling him a “waiter” doesn’t even feel right — he’s way more than that. Super friendly, always starting conversations, joking around, and just making meals fun. I’d actually look forward to breakfast and dinner because I knew he’d be there. The one day he wasn’t (his birthday), it didn’t feel the same at all.||From the moment we landed, Joali’s team (with Travelescape) had everything sorted. They took our bags right away, told us to just relax, and a few minutes later their cars picked us up for the lounge. We got some snacks there and then they took us straight to the seaplane dock. We were lucky — the Joali seaplane was almost empty, which made it super comfortable (and that’s coming from someone who’s 2m tall).||Arriving at the island, we were given welcome drinks and greeted by the manager before being taken to our villa. Since it was our second visit, we skipped the island tour, but if you’re new it’s worth doing. Even though we’d been before, the villa still gave us that “wow” moment — clean, elegant, and just beautiful.||Of course, the first thing we did was jump straight into the ocean. I honestly think their reef is underrated. We swam out almost to the furthest spot you’re allowed, and around the 4-bedroom villa the coral and fish life were amazing. Saw reef sharks, eagle rays, schools of colorful fish, bright coral, all kinds of starfish, massive sea urchins, and even a baby lionfish. The water’s crystal clear and super refreshing.||The pool is also great — big, with a stunning view. Personally, I wish it was a bit deeper and had a heater. If it did, I’d never leave it.||Food & Dining|Breakfast was always solid. They had a buffet plus a menu, and halfway through our stay they expanded it into a much bigger selection. MC recommended the shakshouka and pancakes — both were amazing. I really don’t get the people who say the portions are small. We eat a lot, and I always felt full.||Lunch at Mojo was another highlight. We loved sitting at the cabanas near the main pool, hopping into the water, and ordering food and drinks right there. The pizza was excellent, and the service overall was spot-on.||Dinner, though, was something else. My top picks: veal Milanese for the starter, ribeye steak for the main, and the Maldivian banana dessert (my absolute favorite). Everything else we tried was also great, but those three stood out.||Spa & Wellness|I didn’t do treatments myself, but my parents did the cryotherapy and really enjoyed it — said it was worth the money. I stuck to the complimentary facilities, which were already amazing. The heated pools and jacuzzies were set at the perfect temperature. The sauna has an unreal view, the ice fountain room is a nice shock to the system, and the relaxation room is exactly what the name says. Even the showers and locker area felt luxurious.||Overall|Joali Being is the perfect size — not too big, not too small — and they’ve made really smart use of the space. Best snorkeling spot is at the Ocean Sala (they’ve renamed it recently), though it’s a bit of a swim from the villas. The whole island is peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The food is excellent, the reef is full of life, and MC is simply the GOAT. Even the little cats wandering around the island add to the charm.||This was our second time back, and it somehow managed to surprise us all over again. Can’t wait...

This is a magnificent place; the island, like the rooms, is spotless. The service is superb, with a special shout-out to our jadugar Maanu whose responsiveness and overall service was beyond anything we’ve encountered in other hotels.||Overall this is a place for people who don’t look at prices on menus; it’s an expensive resort and you are a captive market. It’s $130 +26% service/tax to hire a padel or tennis court, wine bottles start around $130++ etc. so if you’re highly value focused I would look elsewhere. Most of the clientele are Russians or Chinese in a certain wealth bracket as a result; it’s more of a place for tranquil privacy than anyone wanting evening entertainment or socialising. But this is a really special resort where they will go above and beyond to meet your every request.||We read that portions are small but they’re not; you can come here for a pure health and wellness transformation and emerge in better shape, or choose to indulge and emerge a few waist sizes bigger! Breakfast is a particular highlight with daily changing live station specials and an incredible variety of healthy (and less healthy!) options. The food overall is very good rather than exceptional; the Japanese is the best but this is by far the most expensive and not part of the half board.||There are better reefs in the Maldives but the array of fish is still spectacular and we saw a turtle, eagle rays and reef sharks during our stay.||We had a fantastic boat trip that included seeing dolphins and snorkelling with turtles and this was real highlight. The wellness area is also standout, with the largest gym in the Maldives and a cryotherapy unit amongst others. ||The resort is quiet; the 68 villas were only half full during our time which meant 320+ staff provided for an impressive staff to guest ratio. ||The water villas are right on the reef but the beach villas aren’t far and come with bigger pools.||Our kids loved searching for hermit crabs on the beach and watching the bats fly overhead in the evening. The kids club offered a range of great activities, including clay making and painting art that was then framed and displayed one cocktail evening on the beach; a lovely touch. Most of the activities were complimentary, but it was a shame that some were expensive enough to deter us from trying them. ||Overall the only place we’ve stayed that comes close to this hotel is the Four Seasons Desroches Seychelles and this place is better, particularly thanks to the beautiful (still fairly new) rooms and the amazing service. We’d highly recommend it and would love...
