Incredible Experience on Digurah Island, Beach Lily – A Truly Unforgettable Stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying on Digurah Island in the Maldives at this wonderful new hotel, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the unforgettable experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and hospitality, especially by Mohammed, who made our stay truly special.

Mohammed went above and beyond to take care of us, treating us like family. He spent so much time with us, sharing his knowledge about the local culture and life on Digurah Island. He organized various excursions and activities for us, always making sure we had everything we needed. His kindness, friendliness, and efficiency in solving any requests made us feel at ease and truly welcomed.

As divers, we were thrilled to know that the hotel arranged a private diving excursion just for us. It’s important to note that, due to island regulations, you can only dive with the hotel you’re staying at. Despite that, we had an amazing experience and saw some incredible underwater life—manta rays, eagle rays, a whale shark, sharks, and more. We were told that for even better diving, it’s ideal to visit after December 10th when the underwater life becomes even more active, though we had no complaints with the vibrant marine life we encountered during our stay in late November.

The location of the house is fantastic—just a short walk to the beautiful bikini beach, which made it easy to enjoy the stunning surroundings without the long walks in the hot sun. The island itself is incredibly walkable, with lush greenery, beautiful beaches, and a serene sandbank that we absolutely loved.

The hotel offers an amazing local breakfast that we enjoyed each morning. The property is exceptionally clean, with beautiful flora surrounding the rooms, which were serviced daily. The AC and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, making it a very comfortable stay.

We were initially disappointed that there was no place serving fresh fish or seafood on the island, but Mohammed took us on a sunset fishing trip, and after the catch, they prepared the fish for us. It was a unique and memorable experience! At the time of our stay, the hotel only served breakfast, but we were informed that the kitchen would soon be open for full-day service, which will make the experience even more convenient.

Additionally, we appreciated the cultural respect and would recommend to others that they follow local customs, such as wearing a bikini only at designated areas.

The hotel arranged our transfer from the airport via speedboat, which was very smooth and comfortable. It cost 60 USD per person one way, and there are two departures per day. It’s a good idea to confirm the boat's name when booking, as they can stop at different parts of the dock.

Lastly, we can’t say enough about the care and attention we received from both Mohammed and his brother Ahmed. They were always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist us with anything we needed. Mohammed is also an exceptional boat captain, and we always felt completely safe and at ease with him on the water.

Amazing place! 1- location- just a few steps from bikini beach and also a few meters away from restaurants 2- Rooms- super comfortable, clean and with AC- you do not need more 3- breakfast - I was taken Maldivian breakfast every morning and it was delicious 4- staff - super professional and reliable. I did the booking directly with them- everything went perfect! They arranged the transfers from airport to the island and viceversa- perfect! If you have any question they are happy and available to help. 5- tours- Mohammed and crew were fantastic! I was in a solo trip and I felt like at home! Very comfortable to be with them! I managed to see whale shark, white and black tip sharks, mantas, stingrays, turtle and thousands of fish

My vacation was very nice, Dhigurah Island is amazing, whale shark and manta excursion really nice thanks Mohammad.
