Cafe with smokers everywhere. Service charge added but bad service. I asked if it were OK if I sit at table and pointed to where I would sit. No problems. But then I just sat. No one bothered to come over. A guy walked in almost 15 mins later, and as he also wasn't being served, he got up and called the woman waitress to me and then him. Waited almost 40 minutes for a teeny curry and rice to come out. I had asked for extra spicy, but it arrived less spicy than a curry pot noodle. Got some fresh chilli and it was ok. Two women had sit behind me prior to my food, and did not shut up. Maldivians can be quite loud, but this took the biscuit. I felt I was going deaf, (particularly in my left ear), from one particular woman shouting so loudly to her friend sitting opposite her. She was louder than the eifel tower with the azan every day disturbing me. Then she started shouting, not talk to the men next to her. In fact she could not just shut up. She then talked to the waitress. Too loud and smoky to eat in this place. Food portions are small, and not one vegetable in the curry, unless onion is counted. Left still hungry. How come so many Maldivians are overweight when portions are so small in a lot of these places? And, tax, service charge is added, but rubbish service. When I had previously asked woman to clear table, she had rolled her eyes. No cards accepted here...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety on the menu made it easy to find something for everyone, and the portions were just right.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Our food arrived on time, and they checked in just enough without being intrusive.
The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and...
Read moreHands down the best restaurant on Dhigurah. We went there 3 times, and every time we ate a different food, everything was fantastic! The soup is excellent, and we tried kotu roshi (tuna and beef) we couldn't decide which one is better. Also, the curry is perfectly done! The waiters are very kind and special thanks to the owner of the restaurant who approached to us to ask us about the food, and stayed there for an hour to talk with us. Really really great man. And he also treat his workers as a family. He also gave us some kind of Maldivian speciality (dessert) for free! One of the best persons I have ever met, really. The prices are maybe the best on the island also. You mustn't miss this place if you come...
