The hotel was beautiful. My daughter thought the kids were nice, WE did have problems. When Caucasian families came for a few days their attitude changed to perfect. -There would be drinking of people associated with the hotel at 4:30/11pm (whenever), and loud singing into the morning. People talking all night long. One couple associated with the owner had a fight in the middle of the night and you could hear glass thrown against the wall -The family stays in the hotel, and it functions like a regular home running playing laughter until all times of the night. My daughter could not sleep. She greatly disliked coming back to this place we payed to stay for a month (not being able to sleep is a horrible experience night after night) -The family only used the kitchen, but somehow our food was stolen. -People go in your room when you are not there.. -hot shower and kitchen could not be used at the same time, they had to move the gas. There were days I had to buy breakfast for my daughter to go to school. -the sink has to be fixed several times it kept leaking water on the floor. --we had to bang on the door to get in one night because, no one was at reception and everyone went to sleep. -Wi-Fi in rooms is poor for work The hotel has so much potential and its in its beginning stages. I hope the professionalism rises to the beauty...
Read moreWe stayed at this less than 1 star hotel as part of our Intrepid tour of the Yucatan Peninsula. The hotel is way out of town and there is no local restaurants. There was no bathroom door and we had to walk through the toilet ( no seat!) to access the COLD shower. The towels were threadbare. There was no security for the room and the fly screens were hanging off. No safe either. Breakfast was to be provided at the hotel but the owner served this at their run down beach club hoping we would spend the day there. On the second morning our guide had organised breakfast with the owner to be served at the hotel at 7.00am. At midnight she told our guide that was too early and it would be ready for 7.30am. The next morning she told us we had to travel back to her beach club. We left and bought breakfast at a nice cafe in Bacalar. This is a dreadful hotel. Stay...
Read moreI had an excellent experience at Hotel Margaritas with my work group. (11 rooms) From the beginning, the owner was very attentive to our needs, perfectly arranging the rooms and beds. Additionally, they offered us free access to the nearby lagoon club, which is ideal for relaxation.||The place has a menu that is definitely worth trying. I also want to highlight the friendliness of the staff, who were always attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. Without a doubt, it’s a recommended option for those seeking comfort and...
