DO NOT BE FOOLED. This place is dated, dark, and dusty. They advertise it as a "luxury inn" on their website, but it is not even close to luxury. Frankly, it's not even clean. We experienced a moldy shower, old yellowed bath towels, stained bedding, and pool areas that were in need of serious maintenance (algae stained hot tub, weeds everywhere, broken lights). Plus, they don't provide locks on the front door of the hotel, the door to your room, or the outside terrace doors into your room (slider). You read that correctly: NO LOCKS. The staff also leaves at 6 pm and they do not provide any contact information in case of a problem. You are on your own in a house without locks from 6 pm to 7:30 am. After one night of a two night stay, we checked out pronto. We've been coming to the Valle for years and this is THE WORST HOTEL we've ever experienced. Do yourself a favor, for the same price (or less!) you could book Hotel Partana or Bruma, both of which are excellent.

Our first visit to Valle de Guadalupe was magical thanks to Felix and the staff @ La Villa Del Valle. I felt at home safe and comfortable. Surrounded by an abundance of culinary options, their breakfast was always my favorite meal of the day. Nothing beats having coffee overlooking all the beautiful scenery outside. Their pool area is perfect and I spent every morning after breakfast down there.I’d also go back in the evening to take a soak in their jacuzzi.Felix would take his time and help set up tastings, lunch, dinner… really anything we needed. He’s just a gem of a person and loves his job. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary there midweek and hope to return ASAP. Thank you for everything. Paul and Jenae

Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at La Villa del Valle for such a memorable stay. I found this boutique bed and breakfast on a NY Mag article and it didn’t disappoint. From the concierge who brought us wine and charcuterie during our tour to the staff who served us our multiple course, delicious breakfast, La Villa was made special by the people who work there. The property is also stunning. The pool and hot tub were incredible at night, our room (the Mycheala) was comfortable and cozy, and the living room is a great place to read and enjoy the Vena Cava wine. Go see the donkeys too! I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Valle. We wouldn’t miss it!

The building is the best part of this hotel. and the room we stayed in had a nice view of the valley. But it was hard to find, and the google maps sent us around in circles. So we followed the signs and finally arrived at the hotel. There we found a wine tasting room, and a food truck. There was no other place to get dinner, without leaving the property, which we were afraid to do as it would mean returning in the dark, so no signs would be visible. Since we were captives, we had food in a bag at a table in the hotel, (as it was too cold to eat outside) no dishes, just ate out of the box. Food just ok. The hotel lists other amenities, like a glass of wine and snacks during cocktail hour. We saw no evidence of that, just a tea service in the living room. The free wine tasting was nice, but a couple of the wines, unfiltered, biodynamic Chardonnay in particular, didn't even taste like wine, it was cloudy and carbonated, reminded me of Pisco. Nothing to do after dinner but sit in the hot tub, and then early to bed. The bed was old, so old in fact that they put a cinch around it (under the fitted sheet) Somehow this made it too hard, but still so bouncy that I could feel my partner every time he moved, (and it was a King bed,) Up every hour or so, and not a pleasant experience. Next morning, no staff to be found, had to wait till they arrived to even get coffee, and breakfast was at 9 am. After such a long wait, we were looking forward to something special. What we got was Mexican street food. Sopapillas, with dried beef on top. Thank god we only booked for one night, and this was supposed to be a...

We reserved the entire hotel to celebrate my milestone birthday, which was made possible due to the small number of rooms. It was amazing to have the whole place to ourselves, making it feel like we lived there for two days— complete with a staff to take care of us! The experience was packed with activities, from visiting their vineyard, Vena Cava, and savoring the food and unique architecture, to an exciting, emotional, scavenger hunt across the beautiful property! Each stop on the scavenger hunt were events I had accomplished in my life. Champagne followed and of course, Felix (best manager ever!!) poured Veuve Clicquot! We enjoyed yoga, swimming, and peaceful morning walks, which left us feeling both relaxed and energized. Animalón, a Michelin-starred restaurant is just minutes away, with more dining options nearby, and the property’s own restaurant will be opening soon. Breakfasts which come with the room, were a highlight as the food and the setting were superb. Best of all their wonderful soaps, lotions, and shampoos, and of course the wine are available for purchase...
