Our stay at Mira Earth Studios for my 30th birthday trip to Valle did not disappoint! It felt like an upscale Airbnb with the standards of a high-end hotel, setting the bar for natural luxury.
When we arrived at the property, we were welcomed by Abe who escorted us up the hill to the studios. He accompanied us to our unit and provided a walkthrough of its amenities and features. During our stay, Abe was incredibly helpful and readily available via text for any questions or assistance we needed.
My boyfriend had reached out beforehand to inquire about birthday celebrations, and they went above and beyond, surprising us with balloons, champagne, and chocolate-dipped strawberries, making our stay even more memorable.
Every morning we enjoyed their breakfast basket, packed with the freshest, tastiest ingredients. The kitchen was well-equipped, featuring a stove top and toaster oven, perfect for whipping up eggs or heating up locally made frozen pizzas. The filtered water system and coffee/tea maker added to the convenience, while the selection of wines, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks provided a tempting array of treats to indulge in.
Each studio comes with an iPad that controls ambient lighting, music that plays through built-in speakers, and privacy shades. Additionally, the shades doubled as a screen projector backdrop for streaming movies or tv shows.
Given the chilly weather, we made full use of the sauna, hot tub, and firepit for some much-needed warmth and relaxation. The complimentary s'mores kit was a thoughtful touch!
The retracting glass wall in the spacious living/dining area enhanced the natural serenity of the environment making it a tranquil setting for in-room massages.
Upon checkout, we had the pleasure of meeting the architect, Juniette, whose vision and attention to detail truly impressed us. Her receptiveness to feedback and passion for Mira Earth Studios were evident, adding another layer of appreciation for our experience.
Words cannot express the deep connection with nature and inner peace we experienced during our stay. We are eager to return and witness its continued evolution. Thank you for an...

The staff is so kind, so helpful, I enjoyed every interaction.
The amenities are phenomenonal. You get an in-suite sauna to relax, a jacuzzi, a hot tub and a fireplace with massive floor to ceiling windows that fully open. It has black out blinds and an EXTREMELY comfortable bed. I struggle to sleep even in 5 star hotels for some reason and I slept like a baby. The hot tub was so nice, the projector was such a fun touch. We didn't get to try the pizza because we had a busy week traveling, but that looked amazing too.
The newly opened pool was amazing. Chill, relaxing and the food was INCREDIBLE!! I can't believe how good the food and drinks were. The flavours on the cocktails were delicious (I talked with the manager, I believe and he explained the quality/ process they're putting into the cocktails). The good was something else, I had several dishes and all were sooooo good. It blew my mind they don't have it open with its own google page.
The view and landscape when you open your blinds every day is stunning. It feels like you are looking at a painting. This is while you're up in the mountain and feel enveloped in nature.
The coffee + tea rituals were incredible. They have a great hand grinder + pour over coffee set up, with a high quality tea kettle that allows you to pick the exact temperature. They have high quality locally roasted coffee to go with it. I was drinking coffee or one of the 3 teas all day. So relaxing.
The high quality sonos allowed us to play music or watch movies. I'm a huge fan of good sound quality.
The lotions, shampoos and everything else were all hand made locally and extremely high quality.
I'm sure I missed a bunch of things, but yeah, this was the best hotel I've experienced by a massive margin. I'll be returning. 10/10 experience. I travel several times a year and stay in top end hotels and this is the best one I've ever experienced.
Unforgettable and unbelievable. Book this hotel or you’ll have made a...
Read moreWords can't describe how incredible and magical my trip to Valle de Guadalupe was, but I know it wouldn't have been nearly as special without Mira Earth Studios.
From the breathtaking views to the beautifully designed rooms, every detail at Mira was stunning. We started the days in our private jacuzzi and the thoughtful touches continue inside, with wines in the kitchenette that showcased the incredible local wineries.
Mornings were something I genuinely looked forward to thanks to the breakfast baskets filled with fruit, yogurt, eggs, and local fresh bread! One day we added pancakes to the basket and it was the perfect touch.
Beyond the room, the Mira team's local knowledge and advice made all the difference. They helped us fill our five days with the best restaurants and wineries in the region. The team truly went above and beyond and we even booked their Classic Car Winery Tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
I've heard they are opening a pool soon, and based on everything I experienced, I know it's going to be incredible. The views and vibe at Mira are unmatched.
Already counting down the days until I can visit again. Mira has stolen my heart and raised the bar for boutique...
