The room was nice and room service good during the week but a bit pricey considering their high speed internet DOES NOT WORK !! We heard several people complain of the same thing and the desk persons are clueless and claim it works. I'm only able to give this review on an unsecured open wifi. We can pick up the hotel secured wifi with a very weak link in the parking lot. The room has no service. Normally we wouldn't care but we need contact with work and family in the US. Limited kitchenette suites. The power goes out when room card is removed from power box before leaving. When this is done the refrigerator goes off as well as all plugs that should be recharging items. Breakfasts had large variety except the oatmeal was presweetened. Not good for people with diabetes or lactose issues. There was never hot water. Most mornings we had to wait quite awhile for luke warm water. The shower only had one bulb - had to ask for another to see in the shower. One of the lamps had no bulb. Front desk is suppose to speak English - They do not. House keeping was good and pleasant during the week - we wanted to leave her a tip but didn't think she'd receive it. The weekend service was not as good. I saw the room advertised for $55 before we left and we paid about $75 dollars/night. Again today I saw it under $55. So why was our stay so expensive. We pick it because of Best Westerns reputation and so we could refrigerate our medicines. The hotel is close to town if you...
Read moreEach room had a walk-out door to the outdoors. The rooms were nice and clean. This was the first time I had seen where you put a keycard in a reader just to turn the power on to the room, which wasn't bad, just different. So by taking that card out, you didn't have TV or an alarm clock, so be aware of that. They had trouble programming our cards for our rooms, but there was a security guard waiting, when we got to our rooms, to allow us in. Then just within 10 minutes of being in our rooms, that guard brought more keycards that were programmed correctly. There weren't any English speaking TV channels The facility supplied bottles of water to drink, for free. The dining area only served breakfast that you had to pay for, but it was served in a very professional manner, and was delicious. The lobby and hotel grounds were very clean. Again, my impression of Mexican hotel beds are very hard and the pillows were hard, but some people prefer it that way. So...

Cons: customer service was poor, they don't have enough staff and the one they have was rude and did not know how to treat customers. The heater in our room wasn't working, we had to be moved to another room were the water in the shower wasn't very hot.
It takes forever for the front desk to answer the phone and our room had only one towel. We asked for two additional towels and we were told they didn't have any because their driers were not working. The next day we call again to request towels and they told us they couldn't send any to our room because they didn't have any staff to send them. Overall our experience was really bad here. I...
