There were 2 key issues that occurred during my stay at this hotel:1. Lady at front desk, do not remember her name, she has black straight hair, was rude and dismissive. We found ourselves constantly having to go back to the front desk to get our keys activated. The 3rd time I was asking her what was the problem with the keys and she mumbled "keys are too sensitive" and proceeded to apparently do something on very computer while I was still standing there, I was explaining to her where I kept the key, as I though it would of interest to know that perhaps the keys used were defective and not too sensitive as implied. yet she kept typing and after finally noticing I was still standing there she lifted her head up and said "the keys are sensitive what else do you want me to tell you"? She never apologized and rolled her eyes. I just walked away. Without fail everytime everyday we had to stop by front desk and get our keys activated.2nd issue and most critical, was our safety was put in danger. We received several calls to our rooms, and then our US cell phones, one was made to asking to confirm if we were in room XXX, giving us the room number we were in, saying they were going to come in and check due to security concerns and red alert. How did they get our US cell numbers?? How did they get our full names? Another attempt was made calling the hotel, front desk would call me and ask if I was expecting a call, I told them no, and the guy's comment was " ha ha yeah sometimes people call to bother our clients" Really?? this was laughing matter? and they call our US cell phones to just bother us? The hotel was so insecure that we left before midnight and no one noticed the person that picked us up told he could've easily just gone up to our floors nobody would've questioned him. This was an attempt of extortion possibly kidnapping for ransom, my questions was how di they get our personal information? If it wasn't provided by hotel, no one else knew our rooms, our US cell numbers. Trust that I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, the worst experience in my life! Almost forgot when I asked about shuttle to airport they informed me that it started at 6am, for me ni problem its typical, however the guy at front desk said " we do offer extra services for our customers, and we can see if my "comparer" wants to come in earlier and can maybe take you to airport, but you have to pay in cash" my question to him if this hotel provided extra service why...
Read moreAfter traveling all day, I couldn't wait to get to the hotel and get some sleep. I specified that I wanted a room with a refrigerator. I got to my room and the toilet hadn't even been flushed and there was no shampoo. They brought some shampoo to my room. I then found out that the refrigerator did not work, and I have to have one for my medication. Went back down to the front desk. The girl explained that they don't have refrigerators only "conservadors" which keep hot things hot and cold things cold. This is obviously a lie. I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times with working refrigerators. She finally upgraded me to a suite with a refrigerator. I asked if this suite was available all week. She said yes. As a Diamond member, I am supposed to be upgraded to a suite automatically if one is available, so I should have been upgraded to this suite when I checked in. I had to pack everything back up and move to the suite. Got moved into the suite and the bedside lamp wouldn't work. The extra outlets mounted on the bedside table also didn't work. Both were unplugged and the bedside table was turned sideways. The toilet wouldn't flush unless you hold the handle down until the flush was complete. The faucet in the sink would not shut off, and had a steady stream of water coming out. The heater/air conditioner unit in the bedroom didn't work correctly and wouldn't heat. Every time I went down to the front desk, no one was there. They were in the back room either listening to music or watching TV. Not sure which. To make things worse, this a quite a large Hampton Inn and has 7 floors. It has two elevators but one was out of service. My colleague had stayed at the hotel a month ago and it was out of service then. In the past, I have never had a desk chair that worked and the shower heads are so full of mineral deposits that you can't get much water pressure, and the water shoots out all over. In conclusion, I will be looking for another hotel to stay at during my next trip. There are several new hotels as well as the Crown Plaza which...
Me volvería a quedar aquí?
