HM hotel — Hotel in Colima

Bad experience, pay for 2 nights, first night, no hot water because hot shower faucet was broken, and there was nobody to fix it at 7pm, (wooow).

Second: issue, and no big deal, no signal on tv, did not work.

Third: the handle of main door was falling of and they did not fix.

Forth: And this is the MAIN ONE way I five 1 star, because at there small swiming pool there were missing some tiles on all the edge facing the beach, and as I was just swiming normally facing down the water, my hand hit the edge of the pool and cut my hand about 3 inches wich one inch was pretty deep, the other 2 not to bad, be aware, bar and restaurant, they claim is not theres so no help there, and when I told the lady at the loby, she told me it was my fault, that they knew about it days ago and they were trying to fix it, (DAYS AGO, AND THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING), very next day after I had already used my own first aid kit and got the bleeding under control, I see, 2 guys fixing all the tiles, it seems that they wait untill somebody gets hurt to do something about it. I took a video and pics of the bad condition of the pool, and how they were fixing it, I just hope I can post the video so every body see and dont ruin their vacation, becase I had to get out of the pool, wich I did on my own so I didnt effect another guests, and next day I could not get on a snorkeling tour because my cut was opening,...

Please do not go there, I thought it was going to be a nice experience because it looked to be an expensive hotel and it had nice pictures online, I rented the suite. Cleaning people are great. We were told that it was ok for us to bring our own drinks since they do not have a bar or a restaurant, all of the sudden we were told to leave the pool area by one of the employees (in a rude manner) if we had a cooler, he after said that it was a misunderstanding. In the rooms you can hear the noice from the street but I mean lot of noice, the a/c does not work properly, the toilets leak all night, they have no wifi service, I could say a lot more negative stuff.... I definitely have had better experiences in other hotels in the area for a way...

Modern decor, friendly helpful staff (if you could find them). We booked a room for 4 days, but it was right above the bar/restaurant which despite having few customers, started blasting music at noon. Had beach access, but no umbrellas or chairs. We left after one night, because of the noise and poor room but had trouble with the refund - are still dealing with corporate about it. Seemed to do the refund easily and were told it would take about 4 days but when we came down an hour later, no staff and we were not able to get the documentation of the refund.
