Hilton Garden Inn Salamanca — Hotel in Guanajuato

October 2022||||This is Hilton garden inn salamanca guanajuato Mexico. What a shame. This hotel has been going down for a couple years now. I know one thing. This is not Hilton.||We switched rooms 3 different times.||1st had a scorpion on the bathroom||2nd had live cucarachas 🪳||3rd had dead cucarachas 🪳||||Then the General Manager Juan Carlos had the nerve to tell us that we have brought them with us.||||The room with dead cucarachas 🪳 was been inspected by me and the Hilton personal and that’s when we found dead cucarachas.||||Juan Carlos told us that he would upgrade us to a bigger suite when he found out that cucarachas 🪳have been a his hotel prior to us been there. And we got nothing. They put us back on the same rooms.||||I over heard other customer having the same issues.||||Food was horrible, dry. Not flavor. Old from day before.||||This place used to be what you expected from a Hilton but this is a random corner Motel.||||- ——————————-||||Aug 2022 I have been staying here for a couple years now. I have notice that their service has gone down, quality of their food and lack of maintenance to their installation. Their pool is falling a part, hot tub has not work for at least a year. Update January 2023 Another pleasant stay at this hotel. Same wonderful service by the staff and the buffet option is back !! Update May/June 2022 Stayed again and this hotel is still amazing with the best staff. Unfortunately due to covid the breakfast buffet though still available now has to be ordered thru the menu. But nevertheless they still have several breakfast lunch and dinner combos available. Still an amazing hotel with an amazing staff!!! Big thank you to the Manager Cesar and his amazing staff Alex, Omar, Karla and all the others (whose names I don't know so plz forgive me 🙏..) for making our stay wonderful and one to remember.

Hilton Garden is located a bit out of city but convenient to our business and Mazda plant. As could be expected at a hotel open 1 month not everything was completely perfect. But I think the location excellent, the staff ready to serve and facility well executed. We had a dinner there for 14 people, and though I was skeptical, it was excellent. Service and food both exceeded expectations. I think the General Manager and all his team are top notch. The gymnasium in this hotel is excellent...4 treadmills, 4 ellipticals, weights, all of high quality. This alone will have me coming back again.
