Hyatt Centric Campestre León — Hotel in Guanajuato

I was in town to give a lecture at the LaSalle University and the Hyatt Centric´s design and staff surpassed my expectations:||📍LOCATION:|Great location next to University LaSalle and Campestre. Just be ware of morning rush hour traffic.||🛋️ DESIGN:|Very Very spatious. This si a very new still (as of Sept 2025) Legorreta Design hotel. The reception meets you with a full heigh atrium space with sofas suitable for informal gatherings or light working. The rooms are giant, with a large king bed + sofa lounge and a small desk. The rooms have a small balcony with a char (not much a view, but still very nice) the design and the finished are all very beauytifully done. The bathroom is the biggest point here it is a full 4 point bathroom with a huge glass enclosed shower, the space between shower, toilet and wash basin is very comfortable. The room is very quite and extremely comfortable. A small water bottle in room, no coffee machine. Didn’t get a change to check out pool and gym on this occasion. ||🚕 TRANSPORTATION:|It was a 20 min taxi ride from the airport. Beware of arriving or leaving during rush hours, the hotel is next to a round about that gets a bit congested.||🍳 FOOD:|As you can see from the photos the breakfast buffet is very well set up. Includes a full fruit and cereal bar as well as an egg / omelet station. They can make your eggs on the spot as you want them. Always a plus also available hard boiled eggs ready if in a rush. 24 hours room service. Menu is limited but good enough for when arriving late from airport.||🧑‍🤝‍🧑 STAFF:|Staff was very courteous and professional. My ironing board was crumpled and upon request they immediately replaced it.||🌅 PRO TIP: beware of rush hour traffic||✅ FINAL THOUGHTS:|Overall great stay! Would stay again. Booked two rooms check in took almost two hours because one of their rooms locks wouldn’t unlock. Once we had the rooms one of them was musty. We asked if we could be moved, they didn’t have any clean rooms. I said okay how much would it be for an upgraded room and purchased upgrade. The upgraded room was nice but hot ac was off. Turned it on and left for a few hours. Came back room was still hot, called front desk. Maintenance came took a look and said it was fixed, should be cool in a few minutes. We went downstairs for some dessert and coffee while it cooled off. Came back still hot. Called again said someone would be there shortly. Someone knocked at our door and said technician was gone for the day and they could move us to the next room. I said okay 👍🏽 we opened the door and it was hot. He turned it on and said he’d be back in a half hour. Came back around midnight. Room had cooled to the same temperature as the current room. So we moved rooms, temperature stayed the same never got any cooler it was already 2 am so I just gave up. ||In the morning I went to tell them ac still wasn’t working, I thought it was reasonable to ask if I could be refunded the upgrade cost since it wasn’t an enjoyable stay. Said since I had stayed in the room, they wouldn’t. I said fine id like to checkout. I have free breakfast as a globalist and they were charging me for it had to call Hyatt and after about an hour they finally had it resolved. I’m a huge fan of Hyatt. But this was by far...

I visit León Guanajuato every year and stayed in so many different hotels the last 21 years and Hyatt Centric it’s the best, from food to comfort, customer service and amenities.||Liz Gonzalez the sale manager always on top of things making sure everything it’s great, and Alfredo at the restaurant giving us the best service in my life in a restaurant, I have done big parties here and they exceed all my expectations.||I also love the rooms, and the comfort, the mattress and pillows there are my favorites.||Can’t wait to go back to the spa and get couples massages again, you can’t ask for a better place to go and relax and enjoy authentic Mexican food with hand made tortillas. ||Thank you Hyatt...
