It is a real shame what has happened to this place, not because of the place it self, but because some people without any consideration decided to open a "Events Garden" JUST NEXT TO IT called DICALARA which should be spelled DICKalara in honour to their owners who show no signs of decency nor knowledge of what Pie de la Cuesta was known for, that is a quiet place where people would come to relax and that's what put this place on the map.|The volume and selection of the music they were playing all fricking night was as loud as annoying, not to mention the fact they also include fireworks that not only made our babies jump startled but made every single dog in the hotel go crazy scared.|We would really have appreciated if the management would have let us know things had changed this way so we could've chosen another place where to stay for the holidays instead of dealing with this.|To be fair, the place it self is the same it has always been... AND there is a an Events Garden JUST NEXT TO IT, where the volume (and horrible selection of music played ALL NIGHT) WAS SOOO LOUD that my husband and I were unable to sleep, let alone rest. The next door event included fireworks that made the dogs in the hotel get scared as well. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Given this reality, they should let customers know about the next door neighbour and the reality that outdoor events are often hosted, before making a reservation. If the Garden next door is hosting an event, and one is unlucky to found out while there, management should provide a refund since it is unacceptable to sleep in a room where the sound is so loud that you literally feel as though you are...
