Hostel Vivir Bonito — Hotel in Michoacán

We were welcomed in this gorgeous hostel with a lot of love which made us feel immediately at home. The guys are super friendly, funny, helpful and share their knowledge about Michoacán and Mexican culture and tradition. As this already sounds perfect, wait till you see this colorful treasure house! In our room we were welcomed with a water bottle, a traditional candy from Michoacán and even a towel. Apart from that, the room was so beautiful and artistic, even with a little balcony, a lot of space and the beds are so comfy - we slept like babies! The bathrooms are also amazing, the shower is one of these rain showers and the hot water walks perfectly. There’s a super lovely living room with swings and a couch and plants and you feel so at home. The kitchen is great as well, there’s a huge fridge, drinking water and everything you need for cooking :) Last but not least, they have a rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view over the city and it’s surrounding mountains. Berni, Rodo and Tom not only know how to welcome their guests, but also the best bars, restaurants and attractions in the area. Best of all, the hostel is so centrally located that you can reach all attractions within a few minutes walking. ||||Thanks to a wonderful color palette and a love to details, it reminds more of a boutique hotel in terms of equipment, but with the advantages of communal hostel life.
