Perfect for visits during low season or during the week. The service here is very relaxed but everyone was kind. We stayed in the smallest rooms in front of the lake, a gorgeous view when you wake up in the morning. We paid $550 for the room, its small and simple, the pillows and the bedding are worn but its clean and warm. The rooms are not soundproof we could hear some of our neighbors conversations. If you want more privacy you can rent a cabin. You can also camp out. The lake is not for swimming but when its warm out you can use their roofed swimming pool. The water there is warm when there are not many people. At night we love, love, love going to the hot spring. Yes you can smell the sulfur but we didn't mind it much. The water is cristal clear and if you are an overnight guest you can stay there as long as you like. It's not very big so it's best to go during the week. We also left the grounds to explore other places and found a natural sauna and some mudd treatments. The mudd was not for me but the natural sauna was great. There were some locals who took eucalyptus leaves and put them above the rock where the steam comes up and it was amazing. We took our own food but there is a restaurant and a store. You can barbecue or have a...

Great spot next to the lake with large swimming pool and peaceful setting...lots of peeps come up for the weekend to camp and stay here and enjoy the warm waters. People also rent boats and walk the lake. Great to be in the warm springs at night or walk up the hill to warmest hot spring. Bring cash as no cards accepted but they will exchange dollars for one point less. Bring food too as restaurant closes early (3pm) or walk 10 min up the road to a much yummier restaurant - but no view of the lake. Store here has lots of snacks, and we bought a towel and coffee there as well. No swimming in the actual lake as about 12 years ago a couple of people drowned due to the large cave or sink hole in the middle of the lake ...their bodies were never found even when professional divers searched the lake. Kind of a shame cuz would be nice to be able to dip in the lake then the warm springs. Still, the large pool is lovely for swimming and soaking and star viewing. Rooms are e pretty basic without television...but wifi we paid $80 for 5 hours...wasn't that great a connection though. Room walls are pretty thin and pillows are square blocks, but showers were super hot. Bring your own...

It has 3 different pool areas (hot springs) but the water was not as hot as I expected, additionally they have very poor illumination.||people play loud music on speakers by the pool and parking areas which is not the best if you are looking for relax time.||We stayed at the rooms area which are very basic and quite small, just to sleep, beds not very comfortable, I recommend bring additional blankets if possible during winter season.||Bathrooms are clean but no curtain or toilet seats available, so they are kind of messy after taking a shower.||In conclusion, it's a very beautiful place surrounded by nature and right at the lake shore which is a plus, the price is very cheap so don't expect great accommodations...

Its not luxury by any stretch of the imagination but it is a great location. Depending on time of year the experience will vary. For us, end of January it was a sunny start to the day and the top pools (over the yellow bridge) were lovely and hot and the setting is wonderful surrounded by tall pine trees. We camped in our van so can’t comment on the accomodation here. At 100 peso per person for the camping and the pools what’s not to like! It’s very pretty and reasonably clean. There is maintenance going on and it’s very out of season so probably not at its best. We may come back later if we are passing. Looked nicer than others that we saw in the area.
