Fiesta Inn Tepic — Hotel in Nayarit

I stayed at this property for one night while on a tour. Check in went well. But then, problems began. First, the room key didn't work. Went back down and they gave me a different key. Rather than simply sending the existing key back through the machine, gave me a new one. Placed the first key in the express check out box. Went back up, that key didn't work. Gave me a different room. Put the second key in the box and gave me a third key. That one worked fine. Notified 6 days later that my credit card number had been used for unauthorized purchases beginning on the night that I checked in. The charges came from Mexico. I had not used the card in several days before checking in. I don't believe that many US Citizens stay at this hotel, so they "saw me coming". Ok... Everything at this place was Soo cool but!! And yes there is a huge but... If you are going to be charging $64 a night you can at least include a continental breakfast to the room and not try to charge an extra $222 pesos per person for breakfast... that is not cool at all because they do not tell you this when you're checking in. On the other hand I have to give it to them the rooms were very nice installations very awesome the view is very good it is in the heart of Plaza called "Forum" but there are other nicer hotels which you can get for $39-$50 bucks at the same level that do include breakfast. we were staying at this hotel the first night we came in and then we move to executive inn which was way cheaper. This hotel is located in a large mall. We were here two nights in March and found the hotel to be very adequate - good shower, friendly staff, functional room and very good internet service.||My only complaint, and one common to most hotels in North America now is the miserly ventilation the hotels call "air conditioning". The room's temperature hovered at 75 - too warm, in my opinion for comfort or sleeping.Nothing we did with the thermostat seemed to alter the setting, and we slept fitfully with a sheet on, or off.||Come on hotels, let your lodgers have comfortable conditions - what's it...
