Best Western Plus Monterrey Colon — Hotel in Nuevo León

Clearly and older hotel but very nicely renovated at some point.

Very clean bathrooms with nice newer modern tile, old shower head but it worked. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were way to large and bulky but some people like them that way.. I don't but that's ok. Overall the room was very nice for the age of the hotel and the remodel

The AC did not work too well and was loud during the night but it ran all night trying to keep up with the heat of the city that was 99f outside the day of our stay.

The breakfast was typical and I was surprised the breads were actually soft and fresh.. usually they are hard and stale at other hotels. The orange Juice was also very good and tasted fresh.

The staff was very friendly and professional and the parking lot attendant / doorman was really on top of his game and watching the parking lot and any movement of people or cars... that was the most comforting aspect of my stay... keeping an eye on our car.

Our family pick up this hotel because it is located near the bus terminal stations. I have family get in to Mty from different places of MX. It is convenient for us. It is not in the best conditions, but it the midpoint for all of us. The Staff was very helpful. When check in the reception was very hot, it seems the air-condition was not working properly. I asked if rooms will be the same, they assure me that the rooms have their own window unit. When in the rooms, we found out that the window units were not working properly. We call reception, and gladly they move us to other rooms where the air-condition was working properly. Definitely the amenities need to be updated. But like I mention before for my family is the place to meet...

The rooms were ok. The hotel has ac but it's not turned on so it's a little hot depending on the time of the year. The maids cleaned our room and turned off the AC so am guessing it's a practice. The only place that seemed to have AC was the restaurant. We had dinner two nights and the food was delicious. They seem to open it up to a group of seniors who bring life music. It's super cute. The breakfast is continental so not much to say about that. The pool is small but definitely use it after a long day of walking. The hotel itself is in an industrial area. Walking to the centro is...
