I stayed here many times in the past years. This hotel used to be worth the 4 stars. It's really not what it was. The room had hair in the shower and bathroom floors and on the toilet seat. Molding is getting very old and crusty. Glass doors are smudged, cracked, opened by hand (motor not working) or just not there at all(poolside). The wifi is not fast enough to buffer netflicks and facebook at the same time( even at 1 am, really????), which means any traveling person will find it very frustrating to work out of the rooms on the hotel connection. I ran my hotspot off my cell phone to get things done. Lower-level staff is always great, so one can only assume the lack of detail and finishing touches can only come from a lack in leadership at the managerial levels. A manager with a loose tie and uneven pat hems (my own eyes) can only breed this lack of personal attention to his subordinates. In my opinion, a visit from the owners or higher-level executives on a surprise run is needed and some serious attention from the star rating system is deserved to lower to 3 stars. PS. The listed room rate on the lobby wall is 333$ CAD a night, which I booked for 87 CAD$ a night on expedia. Whoever the manager was in 2016-2017, hire them back...You really don't know what you have...
Read moreI advise you… DO NOT STAY IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE…I selected one star since there isn’t an option for no stars at all to rate a frustrating and so disappointing experience at this hotel. I reserved to rooms that were not ready by check in, (one room ready until 3:40p and the other one until 8:48pm!) they kept us holding with ridiculous excuses. Limited parking with no bellmen available. Lobby is on second floor and to access there’s two tiny space and always busy elevators so we used the stairs. To access rooms to upper levels there’s another two tiny elevators so waiting time to ride can take more than 20 min. Rooms are different from their marketing pictures, filthy and old looking furniture. WiFi didn’t work!! To drive out of the property ticket validation is time consuming, compicated and inconvenient. Terrible old facility and poor service… so overrated. It shouldn’t even be rated 2 star hotel. At least I got half of the price of one room refund after I finally got to speak with upper management...
Read moreI checked in and what I always do is to inspect the bed sheet because I travel a lot and have many bad experiences in the past. Nonetheless, I inspected the bed sheet immediately I walked in to my room and found 2 different kind of hairs under the blanket. It means the housekeeper did not replace the bed sheet after the prior guest and just covered it up with the blanket. it was discusting and when I called the front counter, they replaced me to the new room. Replacing to the new room is not the issue, but this means that the hotel are not replacing bed sheets habitually. Everyone, please inspect the bed sheet immediately after checking in and take photos and record it with you phone. I hope the hotel would learn a lesson. Also, this hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. no way... maybe 2 star, or maximum 3 star...
