ibis Monterrey Aeropuerto — Hotel in Nuevo León

I booked this hotel online and clicked a 1am check in time as we had a flight connection and needed to sleep for a few hours. When I submitted my booking, the time changed to 3 pm. I immediately requested the 1am check in. I also called the property before clicking confirm and the receptionist Abby, said no problem, we can proceed to the property. I confirmed the booking and jumped in a taxi. When we arrived she refused to honor the check in time. She was incredibly rude, shaking her finger at me as I begged her to make an exception and not force us to pay twice. She refused and because it was so late and we had no time to find another place? we had to pay a second time. So I paid twice for the same room that was vacant. I’ve requested a refund twice and I haven’t heard a word back. Horrible customer service and completely unreasonable in my eyes as the hotel had nothing to loose by honouring...

Just plain AWFUL. First, the shuttle took way too long to pick me up from the Airport (which is understandable when there's a lot of traffic, this wasn't the case since I arrived at midnight), not only it took a long time for them to arrive, I had to call 7 times until the receptionist picked up. Secondly, I arrive at the hotel, go to my room and half of the room's electricity is out (by this, I mean that the power outlets, either didn't work or the lamps wouldn't turn on, this also includes the bathroom, it was completely dark). I would never recommend this place to anyone, it is cheap, so I guess you will get what you pay for. Also, giving it a one star because it's not...

I stayed here a few days ago for one night during layover for flight during vaca in mexico and although a very good price. They charged me again after I had already paid and had confirmation, they will not answer the phone so although they say they provide shuttle to and from airport you still have to pay 15 for a taxi. I tried calling about extra charge they answered once and as soon as i mentioned double charged hung up and never answered again. Also do not eat food in their restaurant expensive and threw up it was so gross and fries were fried all in same grease all day tasted like and never...
