Fiesta Inn Express Puebla Explanada — Hotel in Puebla

Well where should I start. ||The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful.||Location not so great, it really depends on how you are traveling. It is inside of a mall, so it is a little strange. I arrived very late at night and the gates to the mall were closed, I was wondering if I had mistaken but the hotel is literally inside the mall just over the food section. The hotel lobby is on the second or third floor and it is completely a isolated from the mall so it is not a problem. ||||The parking is strange as there is no special location for the hotel, so if you arrive on a busy day it might be hard to find where to park. Just keep it on mind.||||Now if yiu are traveling as tourist and you want to move around and visit downtown and different location, this place is not for you. It is far from downtown, it is next to the highway and the public transportation is not good. You will waste a lot of time.||||There is a pool, but is kind of awkward as it is next to the lobby and front desk. Breakfast is just a normal buffet, but...

The hotel, where the opinion of the personell rules ! You reserve a regular room, do not ask for anything special, well at check-in they tell you, you reserved a handicapped room. No problem, just tell me, because my rate was very cheap, this is what I get, but do not tell me that is what I reserved. At check-in you get advised breakfast starts by 6am until 10am, but be careful after 10am no breakfast will be served and you need to ask for room service. Imagine your surprise, you check for a breakfast by 6 am and nothing is actually prepared and the helpful person at the reception just offers you an apology, "sorry today breakfast is served by 7am". Well if your staff is late should not be my problem, but now I need to leave without a breakfast. Parking is a problem as there's no agreement between mall and hotel so you need to have a special handling of your ticket with the front desk.||Sometimes there are concerts in the mall parking, so the mall block most of the entrances including the parking area reserved for the hotel. The worse part is that I couldn't park my car and neither get in to my hotel, I spent 30 minutes inside the mall without access to this hotel. When the hotel guys came, told me: "this is something out of our control"...
