Hotel Boutique Camino del Bosque — Hotel in Puebla

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at hotel Camino del Bosque of which we have only the best of the best to remember.
The rooms are very modernly decorated and are the cleanest rooms we’ve seen during our 3 month trip in Mexico.The space is very well maintained, in a great peaceful area(full of colibris and wildlife) far from the city’s madness.
It has OXXO and Pharmacia Guadalajara in a blink of an eye so do not worry about distance.
Uber is available 24/7 and costs around 60 pesos to Cholula’s centre. The staff (Roy the chef and the ladies who maintain the rooms and space) are among the best,Roy’s English probably better than ours, there is a coffee machine in the room along with filter coffee and hot hot hot water.
Last but not least, the room and the space smell divine, there is no sewage or bad smell and the water doesn’t smell off.
No humidity in the rooms or any faults at all.
Can not recommend Camino more for your Puebla...

What a disappointment. Wanted to treat ourselves with a somewhat luxurious stay but it didn’t meet our expectations. Staff is not very hospitable and the communication is bad (none of my messages was responded to). The worst is that there was a huge party in the garden with loud music (until after midnight) so we couldn’t relax in the garden, the reason why we booked this hotel. They did offer to move us to another hotel which was nice so we accepted but the other hotel was not as nice, did not have a pool and no restaurant. Also we forgot AirPods in the room and we asked to return them but never heard back. The interior of the rooms and the garden is really nice and clean though but make sure to bring warm clothes (gets cold after sunset and there is no indoor seating for the restaurant). Contraté este lugar para mi boda con un año de anticipación. Mi pareja y yo elegimos este lugar ya que el administrador en ese momento fue amable y claro con el servicio. Tres semanas antes de la fecha el escenario cambió para mal. Escribió una mujer que ni siquiera tuvo la formalidad de presentarse e introducirnos en la situación que estaba atravesando el hotel. A través de WhatsApp dijo llamarse "Alejandra" y ser la nueva administradora, sus mensajes eran directamente para cuestionarnos si nosotros éramos "los del evento", los que ya habían "pagado en su totalidad todas las habitaciones" -porque así fue, rentamos todas las habitaciones del hotel para nuestros invitados en tiempo y forma-, y para hacer una serie de comentarios fuera de lugar, además de deshacer acuerdos previamente establecidos con la administración anterior.

Independientemente de la nula profesionalidad y ética, lo más grotesco fue el siguiente mensaje, referente al precio por el que se hizo el contrato, el cual ya estaba completamente liquidado: “la verdad es una tarifa súper baja para la fecha (semana santa)”. No me explico cómo desde nuestro lado, en posición de clientes, ese sería un comentario que tendría que interesarnos o una situación que nos incumbiera. Principalmente estando todo pagado.

Con solo a unos días para la fecha de nuestra boda, ya no era posible cambiar el lugar. Nos hospedamos ahí. La boda, gracias a nuestra querida wedding planner y su equipo fue hermosa, sin embargo, Hotel Camino del Bosque y la gente que lo ‘administra’ es algo con lo que no me quiero volver a topar jamás puesto que, no conformes con esto, su ineptitud fue aún más lejos: la alberca del hotel estaba sucia y siempre que nos íbamos a bañar tuvimos que pedir que encendieran el calentador, nunca hubo agua caliente corriendo.

Y bueno, al final quedan muchas otras situaciones que me faltaría comentar pero, para concluir, no recomiendo este sitio para nada, es un lugar penumbroso en todo lo...
