From the front desk Ula, Eliason and Herci with a warm family welcome home to the cooks Marta and Alfredo and the wait staff both day and night shift knowing what and how you like your food to the bartender Nathaniel and Esperanza who knows what you like to drink to the housekeepers who welcome you and keep your room tidy. To Carlos in activities kept everyone engaged with different activities while his partner was on vacation he did a very spectacular job holding down the fort. Last but not least Ruben who works in the spa area who did a fabulous job with massages and a rose facial before I left. And we met Viviana also from the spa who did a demo on there after sun product with a little massage who has hands like and angel also. A big thank you to all the staff who works so hard to make make sure everyone is happy and feel like home. This resort is the best and the only one we choose to keep coming back to. Francesca the ceramics lady who's pottery ends up so beautiful and special with her eye for details and good prices makes our time as well. We appreciate all the staff and managers who make sure our stay is fabulous. Thank you family from the bottom of our hearts. We have been coming here for more than 4 years 3 to 4 trips a year. The staff go out of there way to make sure you are happy and acknowledge. The food is always changing and if you don't see what you want you can ask for it. If you have a food allergy like me they make sure thar everyone is aware and prepare your food separate. Activities always change except for water volleyball and entertainment as well has changed and are very enter active with the guest.

Had the pleasure of staying here end of April for two weeks. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it certainly didn't disappoint. Greeted at reception with a nice cold flannel, quick check then transferred to our room, which was right by the beach. Room was lovely and big, the bed was huge and really comfortable. Bathroom area had twin sinks and a separate toilet and shower. There was huge wardrobes, also there was an ironing board/ iron. Also a hairdryer. Our room had a huge Jacuzzi bath. This place is huge, the grounds were kept lovely and clean. Staff were very pleasant, always saying hello when they walked passed you. We had some lovely meals in 5 of the 10 restaurants on site. Only problem we found was there was a seaweed problem, but the hotel had workers to clear it from 5.30am until 6pm. There is two lovely pools also it's right on the beach. There were sun lounger and Bali beds by the pools and on the beach. The drinks were very strong. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to go back.

We spent a delightful week at Hidden Beach July 15-22, 2020. The resort was less than 50% capacity due to COVID. But the service was 110%. All the staff: Angle, Fernando, Ula, Jose, Esperanza, Noel, Alberto, Jhonatan, Pedro, and Rosa were impeccable. They took the time to learn your name and preferences. I only had to ask for beer once at dinner and it was offered every other night. The food is delicious, first class dining. The breakfast and lunch menus had 15-20 items that remained the same each day. For breakfast I recommend chicken chilaquiles (have a fried egg added on top). The dinner menu changed each night; Italian, sea food, Mexican, etc. I especially recommend the garlic cream soup. Sandy, the activity director, was on hand throughout the day organizing water volleyball, exercise, and other fun stuff. Because Sandy talked with everyone, she would discover couples with similar interest. She found us a couple to play Rummikub with.

When you enter Hidden Beach resort is like entering a secluded little paradise. Stepping through its private doors you encounter lush and tastefully groomed gardens. Time seems to stop, all you perceive around is peace, quiet, nature's beauty and a warmth welcoming feeling. Soon you face a group of extremely friendly and efficient people willing to get to know you and make your stay a truly enjoyable experience. The two restaurants are modest but serve delightful food, options are plenty and if that's not enough there is a different menu for each day or you can attend any of the other restaurants in the adjacent Dorado resorts. Your room is an extension of this little paradise. Large and comfortable with a very well supplied minibar, huge bathtub, extremely comfortable king size bed and the largest fluffy pillows and sheet towels I have never seen. Romance is in the air and your room is your accomplice with comfortable a/c and lots of privacy. There is music, of course you are in Mexico, but it is tasteful, the volume respects your ear's health and your need to relax, rest and sleep. Entertainment was plenty and also tasteful and again always at a decent volume and ending early to allow you to re energize for another day of bliss and romance with your partner, the sun, the white sand and extremely blue ocean. There is of course the option to free yourself from clothing. This experience is also delightful, feeling the warmth of the Riviera Maya all over your body, the ocean breeze and to see your loved one skin with no barriers under the sun is truly a powerful aphrodisiac that will make you fall in love all over again. Although our experience was truly wonderful. there is a bit of room for improvement. The shower tiles in the room were extremely slippery and a rubber mat was not provided unless requested. I almost split my head open the first time i showered. There was some hassle having the mini bar restocked as well as housekeeping amenities. The fitness centre is in detrimental state so not suitable for fitness enthusiasts. The A/C in there is not sufficient so the room is super warm to exercise. The recumbent bike seat can't be adjusted, the elliptical joints are really rusty and ready to break, the dumbells are not maintained and were coming apart (lucky again I noticed before it fell on my foot). The staff also drinks the water from the cooler which is not bad but it is not refilled afterwards. Supplies (fresh towels, fruit) are delivered too late for early morning risers (7am). It would also be recommendable to install nets on all ceilings outside guestrooms (or similar solution). This is because bats sleep there and every morning the hallways leading to the stairs are full of bat droppings which is unsanitary and a bit disgusting since you may be walking barefoot and it is not cleaned until...

The staff at HBR is what makes this resort so great! From the moment you arrive (and undress), Eliasin & Miguel at the reception area greet you and explain the resort and rules. They are fantastic. However, Ula (affectionately called “Ul-la-la”) is very special. She made us feel so comfortable and secure and there are simply too many examples of her kindness to list, but here’s one: The resort did/does not have Sugar-Free Red Bulls (or any energy drinks at all - which was very disappointing since we don’t drink alcohol), but Ula went to the store by her house and bought/brought us over 30 Sugar-Free Red Bulls so we could enjoy our favorite beverage for the duration of our stay. And throughout our stay, Ula made us feel like we were the King and Queen of the resort. Words can’t describe how amazing she is.

Fernanda and Carlos (activity directors) are both amazing, fun, funny and such a pleasure to be around. And, as fun as they are, they are also very professional, kind and courteous. They make you feel like the resort is your home.

The ladies of the room cleaning staff are also amazing (always a very clean room and always wearing a beautiful smile).

Naturally, the restaurant staff are all phenomenal. A special thank you to Ancento for your terrific hospitality, specially the cappuccinos each morning. In short, the entire staff is phenomenal.

On the negative side, there is no beach at the resort, which means there are no all-inclusive benefits of being at a beach resort, such as sailboats, paddleboards, surfboards, diving rafts, etc. There’s no sand! You can however use the adjacent properties amenities. On a bad note, the sailboat trip you can book is horrible at best. To many reasons to list, but here’s a few: Horrible “cardboard lunch box” complete with no napkins or cutlery, 4 young male staff which you could bet were taking pictures, sad and bare reef, 55-minute drive each way, hours of sitting and doing nothing near the check in area (we actually left and summoned our own taxi back to the resort rather than stay next to a some crappy bar for 2 1/2 hours). And again, no energy drinks which we found insulting.

However, it’s important to remember that anything negative had absolutely nothing to do with the resort staff or the people that work at the resort. They treat you better than you’ve ever been treated at The Connaught in London or any...

UPDATE: we have just returned from our 9th trip and it is still the best nudist resort in the world, We have just returned form 7 wonderful nights a Hidden Beach. I have reviewed HBR before but I want to bring a bit more light to a few areas that are often left out. First of all as we arrive we are greeted by name by every single member of the staff. I hesitate to refer to them as staff because they are more like family.

All of the restaurants are all top notch the one that stands out the most of the 9 is Klay Talay Asian Fusion, My partner Pam must be Gluten free and they were able to accommodate with a great selection. Just a note all the restaurants asked us at the host stand if we had any dietary needs and all were able to accommodate.

The most over looked staff in this resort is housekeeping, my little sisters, Rosy, Angelica, and Blanca. These ladies work very hard and our room is always fantastic, they really do look for all the details and the towel origami animals are Pam’s favorite.

The entertainment staff headed by Aldo and run by Adrian is great. These guys are always happy, and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. They seem to have a unique ability to pull people out of their shell and truly have a wonderful time.

The bar staff are the best. Form Alberto, Esparanza, Pedro, and Gilberto. All the liquors are top self and the service is never ending.

Last but not least the leader/director of this place that we like to call home is America and her partner in excellence Alexandra. These two women do so much for all of us. It is not uncommon to find America Helping the Housekeepers on busy turnover days or Alexandra running around the pool helping with umbrellas or going off to find a special news paper for a guest that they did not have. I believe that there is nothing these two beautiful ladies would not do for the staff...
