As this was our this was our first vacation in 10 years, we were very disappointed. The lower swim up suite we thought we paid extra for we did not get. The suite they gave us, the floors were soaking wet for two days until the finally got the air conditioner straitened out. The balcony swim out suite water was to cold to even use. The balcony slider was so hard to open, my wife required me to help every time. We had drain knats coming out of the bathroom sink continuously, we had to place towels over the two sinks and kill them each morning. The little bit of beaches they had were covered in 50ft of sea weed and were not usable. And the smell of the sea weed was alfull. The food at all 6 restaurants was terrible. Will never come back to Mexico again. We spent all our savings on celibrating our tenth anaversary in a vacation trap. As they tried to up sell the bottom pool side swim up suites for an additional $160.00 per night after we had already paid extra...
Read moreMy wife and I had such high expectations of this, place having stayed and had a wonderful time here 10 years ago. The resort is very different now and not in a good way. The concierge is basically a front desk, the food was mediocre at best now when it used to be amazing. There aren't enough restaurants to support the amount of people staying at the now 3 hotels here and there simply wasn't enough food to snack on when not at breakfast, lunch or dinner. For a gourmet all inclusive there should be a non buffet option for breakfast, but there isnt. There were many other reason why this place fell short as I mentioned, but the biggest was the people, the last time we were here every one went above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable that never happened with the exception of the bellmen they...
Read moreThis place is was well worth it. First we went into a steam room. Then into something called a mud something room, but it was basically a cold room (also an experience). After that, we showered and went into a massage pool. That was pretty good. After that we went into 3 different Jacuzzi ranging from hot medium and cold. Got is about what you would expect. I thought cold would be room temp or like tap cold, but that was medium. Cold was freezing and it was just a bunch of stairs you walk down and up. Couldn't stay in there more than a few seconds, but worth it. Felt so awesome after that. Once done with this, we went upstairs for a 80 min massage. Get the scented oils for them to use, they have a few different ones and it's only 10 dollars more (worth it). Felt...
