Fiesta Inn Express San Luis Potosí Oriente — Hotel in San Luis Potosí

I was there with my family for about 5 nights, the front desk person charged for the restaurant service and the difference of the hotel from Priceline package. Once I came home I noticed 2 transactions for the same amount of 192.00 each. I called my credit card to let them know it should be only one transaction so they disputed the transaction with the hotel and the hotel stated that the transactions are correct so they didn’t give me my money back. I called the hotel to have them provide me with documents of the transactions to make sure I wasn’t wrong. The front office lady and I know who she is. She didn’t wanted to provide me with her manager’s name or her name so I know whom I am talking to because she asked me to call back by later. I’m very disappointed with this situation and please do not use this hotel as they will overcharge you and since they know you are from there, they will charge you more and will make it seem like you approved the transactions! I would understand if the transactions were different but this was the same exactly transaction charged twice! Can you provide me with the information of why you are charging me twice?? Surprise.|Came back to this hotel after about year and what used to be an excelent option while on business started to crumble down. |Room was about a mile away in the very end of the second floor. Ok, not to bad if it wasn’t that noisy, somewhat close to some sort of central airco.|Washed my hands and surprise, drainage was blocked so I now have a small pond full of soap. Hope its not there in the morning|Curtains must have been white not to long ago. If they were sent down to the laundry they would come back to life.|Down at the restaurant make sure that when you order a Cobb salad with 150g of chicken in it, there is some chicken in it at all. I had to ask the waiter and wait until they finally caught the chicken...|My business parter ordered a Caesar Salad but, unsurprisingly, no dressing at all, so guess what, again we patiently waited. Obviously we decided not to order dessert in case we were still there by breakfast.|Good news is you have a TV screen the size of a double decker, much to large to watch in bed before going blind.|So, all in all, there is need to improve...

I stayed at this property twice in the last 2 weeks. The first was just awful: The room was grimy as hell, the stench of tobacco overwelming... the pillows huge and stiff (until I discovered the perfect pillow stashed in the closet) and what looked like a bunch of catchup stains in the carpet -- I know I should of asked for a room change the minute I walked in but was just to tired to deal with the hassle. ||The second time around was much better so I had no major complaints -- and being very objective, the beds are quite delicious to sleep in which is a major point for a weary traveler.
