My husband and I got roped into staying here. We were out for a stroll to the aquarium and some guy stopped my husband, asking him if he was interested in touring their hotel, and in exchange for some of our time, we would get tickets to not only the aquarium but to Cancuncito as well. We had to sit through an hour long presentation where a representative tried to get us to sign up for a vacation rental package that we clearly weren't interested in, but she kept trying to persuade my husband to ignore my wishes and sign us up anyway. Read moreOur stay at this hotel was one that was planned 1 day before. I stayed at this hotel with two small kids. My overall experience was good. The facade and lobby is very nice. The only problem was that the hotels sits on a very busy street. Their is construction going on next door. Was not bothered by it at all. We had our rooms facing the port, the view was beautiful. The rooms are a little dated. The beds are nice and firm if that was you like. The bathroom had a great big soaking tub. The maid service do work a little slow. They usually didn't show up til around 3pm, twice we arrived back and they were just finishing up. The pool was nice and deep all around. There are about two kiddie pools. They were not very clean. The other pool was cleaned every morning. The view from the pool deck was beautiful. Overall, I would try to look for another hotel closer to the center. This hotel was far away from downtown. Their was a couple of lounges across from the street did not go but looked like...
