We went here September so we didn’t use the ski facilities. The staff was very kind and tried their best to accommodate us.
We intended to stay two nights however decided to leave after the first night because of the spa mostly.
Spa: One of the main reason we stayed at this hotel was wanting to do some „spa“ and relax. Unfortunately the spa is really really small. We think they messed up having such a huge „resort“ and a tiny spa with one sauna and one steam and a small pool with limited loungers. I can’t even imagine how packed it must be in high season. I think if you call a hotel a „resort“ is also to provide relaxation and for our stay the sauna wasn’t working so there was only the steam room left which we also got sick from unfortunately probably germs and no in between cleaning or air. Then it was very loud felt a bit like you are on a „open market“ with people being extremely loud due to the small space the sound was increased. The lights in the spa could be more dimmed not so bright. When you lay at the loungers you literally have spot lights shining at you. The management has a missed opportunity here providing a „recreational space“ for off season by not having a bigger spa and more saunas in case one breaks down….
Rooms: The rooms were really nice. Maybe a bit overfurnished. We were struggling to find space for our luggage. Beautiful interior but maybe one coffee table would be enough and maybe two chairs instead of 4 to provide more walking space. The design however really nice. Bathrooms excellent and comfy. Another small improvement would be the light of the telephones are very bright and those blue light switches across from the bathroom also shine towards the face when sleeping. Maybe an option to simply cover them with those switch covers.
Food: We were initially very unhappy with the „Avo“ Sandwhich we had ordered for room service. That really felt like a scam. A freshly baked Sandwhich was an stone hard bread from the morning filled with slices of tomatoes and onions. No mayonnaise no mustard or anything just plain hard bread for 12€ + Service Fee. I just thought to myself how hard is it to mess up a Sandwhich but they accomplished that. However this is something you guys for sure can and should improve or better don’t offer this kind of scam options. We didn’t feel like going to the dinner after this experience. However the next day we had breakfast and it was really good. I can’t say much about the dinner as we left the hotel to stay somewhere else with sauna as intended.
To summarize the price (120€/Night) probably is okay for a nice room with good breakfast but don’t expect to get much of relaxation in the small spa sadly. But they are still in the building process maybe there is time to make adjustments and actually give a huge „resort“ like this a much needed „recreational space“. The manager tried to comfort us which was kind but just wasn’t for us seeking a quiet and...

Our stay at Swissotel Resort was excellent, especially in the Signature Suite. The apartment had two spacious rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a fan, along with two balconies and a fully equipped kitchen. Despite some reviews mentioning firm beds, I personally found them comfortable. A thoughtful touch was the welcoming card and chocolate on the table, which I really appreciated.
The staff were fantastic—polite, attentive, and always available. The spa center was great, although the steam room was out of order, so we made use of the indoor pool and sauna. There were also separate showers and a drying room for men and women, making it convenient before heading back to our room. A gym next to the pool was a nice addition for fitness enthusiasts.
Breakfast was delicious, served buffet-style with plenty of choices. However, dinner was overpriced compared to the taste—main courses like spaghetti with shrimp or fish ranged from €20 to €30, but we didn’t find them impressive. Soft drinks were around €5–6. The hotel did take our feedback into consideration, which was appreciated. A 10% service charge was included in the final bill.
The hotel is in a quiet area, about 20 minutes by car from Kolašin center. Important to note: markets are closed on Sundays, except for some small shops. The ski slope at 1600m was within walking distance, and we skied there on March 2nd. However, due to weather conditions, we had to move to the 1400m ski slope, which was a 5-minute drive.
Ski Slope & Café Prices:
Ski pass (1600m): €25 per day / €16 for half-day (starting at 12:30)
Café at 1600m: Espresso €2.20
Ski pass (1400m): €15 per day (€12 for children) – no half-day option
Café at 1400m (Jezerine): Espresso €5, beer €9, sandwiches €10, other meals €20–30
Previously, slopes at 1600m and 1400m were connected, but this year they were separate
Overall, SwissResort Hotel provided a great experience with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and good amenities, though dinner prices could be improved. Would...
Read more-swissotel charges Swiss prices for a below 4-star standards experience. We were unhappy with our stay there. Very poor value for money. -Curtails are smaller than windows: get first light of the sun in the morning. There was also a light seen for the bed that we could not switch off during 1st night, so we barely slept. -Shower is leaking. There was a horrible smell of sanitation from ventilation during the night. -Pillows are uncomfortable and flat. mattress is very very hard. -unmotivated stuff. Need to ask basic things 20 times. Especially during breakfast. No more hot water, no milk, no cheese, no jam, no chocolate croissant, no smoothies…for breakfast there was just some water + packaged orange juice.. and very cheap ingredients if they manage to have at least something. -For dinner prices are ridiculous for below average food: starters around 20€, cheesecake 11€… -spa is not relaxing at all. There is a hole in the door of sauna, it cannot be hot enough because of this. No soap or shampoo in the shower of spa zone. People are picking each other places, talking loudly on the phone. We left to sauna for 10min, our towers were taken away by people and they took our places. Kids in the sauna watching cartoons out loud. Pool is too small. No tea in spa zone. Bath robes are only of size S, too tiny even for a women not talking about a man. -hotel was build in hurry, everything looks cheap and under budget. There are marks of construction in the walls or poorly fixed things. -there are construction works around of hotel for other developments. -The hotel belongs to Accor group, but the standards are well below Accor group level. I don’t know where Accor is looking and why they are not checking things. Not a good hospitality...
