Hotel National — Hotel in Al Hoceima

Decent for the price, but there are some drawbacks. I recommend rooms 402 or 401; however, be aware that there’s no elevator, so getting to the 4th floor was challenging. On the plus side, the room and shower were clean. The room had a very old TV that didn’t work, but that was a minor issue. We considered moving to a room on the 2nd floor to avoid the climb, but those rooms were very small and uncomfortably hot, so we stayed on the 4th floor. The Emperior Suite Lake View was an incredibly beautiful suite with high ceilings, pastel walls and marble bathroom. The breakfast buffet was substantial, the dinner at Restaurant National and Bar National, quality of service and food exceptional. The hotel is pretty well located in the city of Al Hoceima close to many sevices, beaches and restaurants. It lacks some facilities but has enough blankets and hot shower water, the TV worked but had only TNT channels so some ten-ish moroccan channels only. The floor was a bit sticky and not super clean tho.. I would still recommend it as a decent low budget...
