My rating - 4.8/5 Travellers - 4 friends in their 20s and 30s
We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were driving all around Morocco. This place by far was one of our best stays and sleeps throughout our stay in Morocco. Extremely affordable and well worth the price.
Room: The rooms were exceptional. This hotel is a new build and you can tell they did not cut any corners. It was so spacious. It had everything we needed, it even had a basket of fruits and refresehments. The beds were massive and extremely comfortable. Our friends stayed in the room next to us and we couldn't hear them at all. You do have the occasional bug/fly but that was to be expected.
Service: This was easily the best service we received throughout our time in Morocco. The hospitality felt so genuine. A lot of places and people can make you feel like they are simply doing things to get a good tip but this place was different. You felt like they did things becuase they really enjoy serving other people and really wanted you to enjoy your stay. And I want to make sure it's very clear, it was every single member of staff that made us feel this way. I can't speak more highly of this place.
Location: The city doesn't have that much too offer but it is a great place to stop and rest. The hotel is in the middle of highly populated area with lots of food/restaurant options. I'm sure our city experience would of been a little better if we didn't stay during Ramadan. As mentioned we had a car and we were easily able to park it behind the hotel with no issue, although the space only looks like it could only hold a few cars, but there is an abundance of free street parking available all around.
I beleive it's also worth noting that the hotels are a little more expensive than hostels but the hostels in Morocco are not like the ones in Europe. If we do come back to Morocco which is a high possiblity, I will be staying in...
Read moreWhen we arrived at the Les Perles d'Arfoud hotel, we were warmly welcomed and promptly escorted to our rooms. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable sofa and a bathroom with only one minor issue - a small hole in the ceiling. However, our experience at breakfast the next morning left a bit to be desired. When we arrived at 9 AM, the breakfast supervisor informed us that we were late and served us cold msemen and regular tea instead of the Moroccan mint tea we had hoped for.
My intention in sharing this feedback is solely constructive, aimed at helping you improve. Despite this minor hiccup, I was overall very satisfied...
Read moreOur receptionist was superb and was very accommodating on when we could checkout the next day as we just finished a long day of driving. We were visiting during Ramadan and the breakfast was very traditional to what locals would eat to break their fast. Absolutely wonderful.
I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone who is looking to stay the night before heading down to Merzouga : )
Huge shoutout to Hassan, Soufiane, Salah and the lovely lady in the kitchen for a...
