\Very disappointed place The place is not lit and also the lighting on the paths is not enough because the paths are not on one level and there are stairs here and there. The rooms were on the second floor of one of two buildings that exist in the complex, the rooms were dark and were hot, it didn't occur to the two guys to turn on the air conditioners in the rooms before our arrival. The rest of the electrical appliances in the room didn't really work, neither the TV nor the WI FI. Since we were on an HB basis we went to the main building which also serves reception, bar and restaurant. One of the guys informed us that even though we ordered HB we could only eat up to the amount of 250 dirhams each! (Not that there was really anything to eat beyond pizza, pasta and salads). The next morning breakfast included: dry pastries a few cubes of butter and jam, orange juice and coffee. We asked what it is? Told us this breakfast is nothing more than that! We asked for plates and asked what for? And said that they don't give plates at breakfast.the rest of the facilities: the pool is dirty. We didn't understand what golf they were talking about because there isn't a name. In short, not a place worth staying, lucky we only stayed one night

Textes Blog La Table d'Ogre

Probably the best thing about this place is it’s stunning setting: beautiful vistas on the surrounding area and lovely well kept gardens. We visited for lunch with a large group. While the service was slow and seating not terribly comfortable, the food was very tasty. I had the lamb tangine. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Ouarzazate maybe the door of the desert and attract a lot of tourists but it's still a fairly small town and hotel choices are limited. If you're expecting a 5-star hotel from the name and advertising, you should temper your expectations. While we're talking about the name, I did not spot the golf course either.

This hotel is well out of Ouarzazate. If you're traveling with a car of your own, this is fine. If you're using taxis be aware that petit taxis may not be willing to drive you all the way out to this hotel.

While the grounds, the pool and the look of the restaurant is gorgeous, the rooms themselves are fairly budget. The rooms are quite dark and beds are very firm to the point of being uncomfortable. The bathroom is a bit more decent with a small bathtub.

The restaurant was quite cute and an excellent spot to see the sunset. The food isn't spectacular but it's good and served in healthy portions.

Like everywhere else we experienced in Morocco, all the shortcomings of a place are made up for by the warmth and friendliness of the people. The hotel is staffed by a very small number of people who are alternately the receptionist, waiters, the bellboys etc. They were so helpful and eager to make your stay comfortable in whatever way possible that you end up overlooking everything else...

We stayed in one of the Villas here for one night. The villa itself could only be described as opulent. It was huge, beautifully fitted out with a bar, library, pool table, kitchen (for the live in maid), sitting rooms with fantastic views, well maintained gardens, the bedrooms and bathrooms were big, clean and very comfortable, but there were a few drawbacks. Firstly, the villa was some 700 metres from the clubroom/restaurant/reception so to go to and from your room you had to rely on the staff from the hotel to drive you to and from. The TV in the rooms did not work and the hotel itself was quite some distance from the town of Ouarzazate which meant that if you didn't have a car you were stuck there. All the villas at the club were spread out around a huge site that gave the impression that it was an unfinished development (there were indeed some unfinished villas that appeared to be abandoned) which meant that visiting friends in another villa would involve a very long walk. The food at the restaurant was very nice and the service provided by all of the staff was great. It would be a great place to stay if you just wanted to stay in your villa and relax...
