Kasbah Idriss — Hotel in caïdat de Ghassate

The view from the roof was truly stunning, yes, but there were walls on most sides of the terrace and no chairs or tables to sit. The rest of the house is beautiful and roomy but badly maintained, actually was not strong enough to warm up the room (December) and there was not enough hot water for even half of our group to shower. Loose tap on the sink, no shower curtain, separate beds and generally the distance to town made this experience less than it could have been. Complimentary tea and coffee was also not enough...

Kasbah Idriss was more isolated than we had understood. The main areas were spacious and comfortably furnished. Kitchen and bathroom basic. We didn't use the kitchen as only ate a simple breakfast and ate dinner out. The nearest restaurant is 18km away in Oarzazarte so we timed our outings to eat dinner on the way home.
