Magic House Imsouane ||Where to start with this horrific experience. |Well here it is. On arrival we were offered a batchelor pad for 3 nights where we would have to move for a further 3 nights to another room, or we could have a 1 bedroomed apartment for the full 6 nights. Needless to say we took the apartment at a slightly higher price. Unfortunately what we didn’t realise at first glance was that it smelt like a sewer especially the bathroom. Naturally we complained. The 2 guys in charge tried everything to fix it. It did seem better in the morning. We told them that whatever they had done seemed to be working and to repeat it. We went out and returned late only to open our door to be greeted with the most horrendous smell, now throughout the Appartement. We told them immediately that they needed to move us. Give them their due, they were suitably mortified and moved us to a bigger 2 bedroomed apartment at no additional cost for the remaining 5 days, they said they were doing this just to keep us happy. We were happy.|Not for long, as 20 mins later the one guy returned to tell us that the elusive owner had said we could stay for one night but would have to move again this time to a much smaller apartment as they had guests arriving the next day that needed a 2 bedroomed. Should have thought about that before they put us in there. Not happening! But we too were getting a bit sick of it all and so we offered them an out. They pay us back the remaining 5 days and we would happily check out straight away. |The elusive owner through his managers told us he would not agree to that. Would like to mention at this point that the one manager was quite aggressive throughout our dealings with him. Bottom line was we were not moving unless they paid us our money back. So the stand off began. Unfortunately our day was not over yet. To top it we had a 24 hour power cut so we were unable to close the electric shutters in our bedroom. And whilst we were supposedly in a quiet village It certainly wasn’t that night. There was a constant stream of bright car lights shining through our bedroom window and a flow of people with torches also shining through as well. But if that wasn’t enough all the stray dogs of which there are many decided to have a barking frenzy right outside our window. To cut an already long story short. We half won our battle as they agreed to leave us in the room. But to be honest we would have far preferred them to have been refunded. It came at a price as we both come down with a horrendous tummy bug. The breakfast was dicey. So would not recommend this place...
