Light House — Hotel in caïdat de Tamri

I’ve been in Morocco for 3 weeks, and this is hands down the best hostel I have stayed at. The hostel is brand new and you’d expect to pay 3x the price for the same quality of stay.

Everyone talks about a hotel making you feel like a family, but this legitimately did. Touria’s food was cooked with the heart and after letting her know I had certain allergies, everything was catered for. If you’re going to Imsouane, this hostel is by far the best and should be part of your travel plans. If you have an allergy, like myself, Touria will accommodate and research recipes for dinner. I’ve been in Morocco for 3 weeks, and this is hands down the best hostel I have stayed at. Khalid is so welcoming, and happy to please, having taken multiple occupants to nearby towns to find an atm due to the lack of one in the town. Just stayed two weeks at Light House in Imsouane. It was exceptional. Touria and Khalid, with the help from Halima and their children, made it very special. It is probably the only hostel in Imsouane where you can be a part of a sweet and loving family and it feels like a home away from home. Touria and Halima are cooking up delicious dishes from Moroccan cuisine and always mixing things up to keep it interesting. It is probably the best place to eat in the village. Exceptional, staying here is an opportunity to get into Moroccan culture while surfing. Excellent food, we stayed here for a week, only ate from Turia's diverse Moroccan kitchen. The rooms are clean, and equipped with a basic kitchen where we made coffee in the morning. Beds are comfortable, a bit hard but for me it was like receiving a massage.
