During my business trip to the Tamnougalt area, I had the opportunity to visit Kasbah Itrane, and I must say it left a positive impression on me. This charming kasbah is a great option for those seeking accommodation in the area.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who provided me with a tour of the premises. The kasbah is situated within an oasis, which adds to its unique and tranquil ambiance. The lush greenery and palm trees surrounding the property create a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The rooms at Kasbah Itrane are spacious and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. The traditional Moroccan decor adds an authentic touch to the experience, and the amenities provided catered to my needs. I particularly enjoyed the views from the room, as I could admire the picturesque oasis and its natural beauty.
One of the highlights of my visit was the swimming pool. Located within the kasbah's grounds, it provided a refreshing oasis where I could cool off and unwind after a long day. The pool area was well-maintained, and the comfortable loungers made it an ideal spot to relax and soak up the sun.
The kasbah's facilities are designed to enhance the guest experience. From the spacious and beautifully decorated common areas to the well-manicured gardens, every detail is carefully attended to. The staff members were attentive and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
Overall, Kasbah Itrane is a hidden gem in the Tamnougalt area. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, this kasbah offers a peaceful retreat with its friendly staff, spacious rooms, and beautiful oasis setting. If you are looking for a unique and memorable experience, I highly recommend considering Kasbah Itrane...

However, compared to the other riads we stayed at during the trip this hotel had the worst customer service. It's just small things but they add up, examples are||1) arriving and not being offered some tea (happens in other places)||2) not being told the wifi password (we had to ask)||3) not being told when dinner or breakfast started (we had to ask)||4) we had to search for someone to take an order for a tea even though we were sitting around the pool area||I know these alone are small but it did feel like we were not really welcome guests, which is very odd for a hotel.||Anyway, moan over, the food was very good and better than others we've had.||The room was good, clean and a nice size. It also had air con.||The following morning there was no electric so we had to get ready in the dark - luckily a mobile gives off enough light. I don't have much of an issue with that, it probably comes with the territory and adds to the experience.||If they could just improve the customer service this would be a...
Read moreWe had five nights in this Kasbah while exploring the village of Tamnaugalt in the Draa Valley. We had a huge room, thankfully air conditioned, as it was unseasonally hot, and very helpful and attentive staff. The lights were quite dim in the room but we found that is the nature of traditional Moroccan accommodation as is the plumbing which can vary depending how difficult it is to obtain their water. They do their best. I am a coeliac and therefore have a gluten free diet and the manageress, Kaltoum , (sorry for spelling) was so helpful as was the waiter, Mehdi. I had little lemon cakes and gluten free bread which isn’t easy to do in the middle of the desert. There is a great pool for a dip, although the water can still be chilly even on a very hot day. The view over the date palms and corn fields, not to mention all the other fruit trees, is wonderful....
