The staff are lovely, and the food was beyond incredible! (I’m confused about previous negative reviews, perhaps the kitchen has changed owners)? It was an absolute Moroccan feast every meal with a huge decadent salad bar and different tangines, barbecued meats, omelette station at breakfast etc. The huts are very charming and really comfortable (although they do not have any mini fridges). The location is a bit awkward - you’re on the west side of the peninsula, not on the lagoon side which is much nicer and has more windsurfing etc. The town is too far to walk and it doesn’t feel safe to go for a jog because of the many wild dog packs. There’s no gym either, so you’re stuck if you want to exercise apart from surfing. I just can’t give 5 stars when they don’t offer wifi outside the restaurant and reception. It made my stay difficult as I had to hotspot a lot. They say it’s on purpose because ‘you’re supposed to relax here’, but in reality, I think most people relax more when they aren’t cut off...

Hi my name is aliaa first time visiting Dakhla so hers my opinion about this hotel This hotel is nice but I think they should improve with the resteration the food is good but I think they shouldn’t always put the same things for lunch they could add some fries for example …But most importantly they should put a schedule for the restaurant is it in that part of the hotel or this part of the hotel for dinner the chefs should be here constantly but there not they keep going and coming and the spaghetti is perfect but they should add meatballs and not to give us plain spaghetti for me the first two days were boring because the beach was too strong and there was no games but the next days there was a men called Abdele playing games with us like karaoke quizzes and hide and seek we were also doing Zumba so I loved it I also think that in the bar they should include it and not separate it from the payment so this is my opinion about West Point...

In love with this place so much! Ocean view from your bungalow and the best wave spot on your doorstep! Really enjoyed my stay at Westpoint! Breakfast buffet: the food was all fresh and they had everything from omelette, boiled eggs and muesli to veggies, fruits, Msemen (amazing Moroccan pancakes), delicious coffee and fresh orange juice!! Surf spot was incredible because you can do both kite&surf and is just 2min. walk from the hotel. Really nice right hand wave and gets big in winter! Last but not least the ocean water swimming pool... fits perfectly into the surrounding environment and is nice place to relax after a good surf session. I highly recommend this place to stay in Dakhla !

I spent 1 week in the hotel, the main objective was to windsurf in the bay of Dakhla. I had a nice traditional hut with 2 double beds and shower. It was simple but comfortable for my sleeps. Full board (breakfast + lunch + dinner) was included in the price, and so was the shuttle service to the windsurf center 25 km away. The personal was very helpful and kind. Once you accept that time is relative, your stay will be amazing but count with some delays to agreed times in anything. I would go back for sure again, was a great experience.
