Hôtel Miranda — Hotel in Gueznaïa

Very poor experience. I had booked and paid for this hotel in advance before I even arrived in Morocco. I arrived at the hotel around 1am after landing at TNG, only to be told that my booking had been cancelled. When I questioned them why my booking was cancelled, I was told that it's the hotel policy to cancel bookings if guest do not arrive by 6pm to check in. So, they cancelled my booking and sold the room to a new guest. I was told that I would have to apply for a refund. How ridiculous are these rules from this hotel. I was made to wait for 2 hours at the hotel reception until 3am and nothing was resolved. I then had to find and book a different hotel at 3am and get a taxi there to be able to get a room for the night. In the end it was worth going to the other hotel which was a million times better. Super clean and luxurious hotel close to the airport. Included breakfast was delicious and the staff went well above and beyond to help us. A MASSIVE shout out to the hotel manager, Hicham, who helped us sort out a very concerning car rental problem where we were stuck with a lemon of a car. He wasnt even in the office, and still contacted the Casablanca rental car office and arranged/ demanded for the Rep. in Tangier to bring us a new car. Je souhaite partager mon expérience suite à mon séjour à l'hôtel. Si l’établissement est globalement propre et les chambres agréables, l’accueil semble d abord à l’écoute mais après appel au responsable qui lui, laisse franchement à désirer.la notion de service client du responsable est proche de zéro 00 . La réceptionniste elle même a menti en ma présence en expliquant à so. Responsable qu’à aucun moment préalablement nous luis avons parlé de l’offre booking .quelle mauvaise foi !!!!!! Autre déception : j’avais repéré deux chambres à 1600 Dhs sur Booking, mais en voulant réserver en direct avec l’hôtel — pensant bien faire — on m’a proposé un tarif à 1400 Dhs... avec un lit ajouté à la va-vite, sans confort. Et une fois sur place, impossible de revenir en arrière pour choisir l'offre Booking. En résumé : en voulant faire bénéficier l’hôtel d’une réservation directe, c’est moi qui me retrouve perdant. Un comble.

Côté « installations », parlons-en : la piscine n’en est pas vraiment une. Plutôt une grande baignoire coincée entre quelques machines de sport. L’espace est exigu, et l’accès, lui, est payant (100 Dhs).

En bref, beaucoup de promesses, peu de considération client, et une impression amère de s’être fait...
