We arrived at this beautiful hotel on the 24th of July, upon arrival, we were offered a meal (which we personally didn’t like because its moroccoan and we aren’t used to the meals), we werent told a price for the meal at that point so we asked the next day and they said we can pay later. Around the 27th of July, I can’t remember the date, the hotel had booked an activity for us which they had said was going to be 1400 dirhams which is over 120 pounds, when we got to the destination, the transport the hotel had booked which they had stated included the activity, had told it actually doesn’t include the activity so we paid over 120 pounds for 3 people to go to a waterfall which there was no tour guide, no boat trip, no food (we had to pay extra for this on top of the transport) and the transport himself even told us to pay an extra 200 dirhams however the hotel sorted that out and told us to only pay 1200. In addition, marrakesh city is 30 minutes drive away, in order to be safe we booked our transport to the city through the hotel, they charged us 300 dirhams for a round trip which is around 30 pounds however, every other taxi in the city or indrive only charged us 140 for a round trip which means the hotel charged us for more than half on the normal price. Furthermore, they give water upon arrival inside the fridge and never give you again and to buy water is 40 dirhams which is 4 pounds. Although a bit pricy its not much of an issue however, we paid for breakfast included when we booked this holiday and they charged us for every time we drank water for breakfast which is ridiculous. The prices are expensive and extortionate. On the good side, the staff are extremely nice and polite, we were treated very well, the rooms were always clean and they always offered help when needed so I would say thats...
Read moreNothing special, you are better of staying in a traditional Moroccan style Riad where the welcome and settings are more traditional. NO facilities available here and very far from centre and any attractions. NO restaurants, bars etc.
Very boring place. Looks like the photos on other reviews are staged unfortunately as there was nobody there when we went and no offers to arrange anything! Rooms are nice but NOT traditional, very European.
Service from the owners is very bad, no hospitality or welcome. Thank you for your response - I was not expecting anything positive from you anyway but it is very disappointing that you are actually giving incorrect information, we were not made aware of any extra charges until we left, I am not sure why you continue to think so.
I would also like to point out that the usual business acumen is to always put your customers first, especially within the hospitality business, but you do not seem to understand that concept. Here is the email you sent me when we tried to complain on our 2nd day:
Dear Madam, We understand than since your arrival nothing is satisfactory for you. Unfortunately we can not change all the strategy to be transformed in an European guest house with price which are not admitted in Morocco just to respond to your expectations. You can ask to the desk for a taxi and we hope you will find an other guest house in accordance with your expectations.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but invite you to re-read our exchanges where all the explanations were given to you and to be vigilant when choosing your next establishment in Marrakech.
Best regards

Read moreUnfortunately there are no highlights apart from the fact that the property is nice to look at nicely decorated. We booked a 4 night stay and were looking forward to a "yoga retreat" in Marrakech. These are the issues:
This property is not in Marrakech, it is in the district of Palmeraie, approx 30 mins drive to the centre of town and a cost of 200 dirhams. But the biggest issue is that once the hotel book the taxi into town, there is pretty much no way of getting back as no taxi wants to come back that far.
We had booked with breakfast included but please be aware that the property think breakfast is some dry bread and jams, they charge extra for juice and coffee (we were not made aware of this until we checked out and were presented with a bill)
There is no onsite restaurant or cafe as advertised, they have one cook in a small kitchen with very little provisions, if they have the product you require then it is fine but if not then they cannot help. For example, I wanted fruit for breakfast but there was no fruit available.
The hotel has no vibe, there were barely any guests when we arrived, no warm welcome and you are literally in the middle of nowhere, no bars, restaurants or shop.
On the 1st night we were tired and hungry so had no option but to eat at the property but please beware the prices they charge are extortionate, 250 dirhams for dinner, it includes salad (not tasting very fresh), chicken tagine and fruit salad. I would not pay more than 30 dirhams for what they served us. We were very disappointed that the property seem to take advantage of the fact that guests can not easily get to any...
