We arrived just past midnight due to bus issues and a guy at the bus station in Tiznit said he would call his friend at this hotel and off we went. We were exhausted.||When we got there, a soft spoken man greeted us warmly. He whispered as to not wake the other guests, He showed us our rooms and made us feel very welcome. We slept very well and the bed was okay too. In the morning we awoke to the hustling bustling market below our window and had a nice breakfast on the terrace with fresh bread and excellent olive and argan oil as well as marmalade and "La Vache qui rit".||||I read a review about this place being described as dirty and loud. I will say, it is on the main square so it is not the quietest of places. It is an authentic old hotel, with stucco decorations on the ceilings of the rooms and colourful old windows and doors, If you go to this sort of hotel, and expect quiet, then I think you are probably not thinking clearly. ||You should have very good ear plugs with you. ||I did not find it dirty, I found it dusty in some places but that is how Morocco is. And again, it is an...
Read more3 males in our group so got offered 1xdouble and 1xsingle pretty much everywhere we went. It was so cheap we bought a single room on top and still worked out about £6 each. Bargin.||||Shared facilities kept clean and we'll stocked with toilet rolls. 1x western and 1x morrocan style. Bit of a queue for shower but we were in no rush. ||||People very nice in Tiznit, met a guy running the car park who became our unofficial guide who seemed to know what we wanted and where we were going before us, he recommended this raid.||||Highly recommend a trip to the beach, we shared a taxi cost about £1 each. Lovely beach with great rocks at far end. Had no issue flagging down a taxi back.||||Cons - only issue we had was about 4 ppl all trying to get us to go to this 1 gold shop all on commission. Locating some where to have a beer is challenging but not impossible, our "guide" pointed us in right direction.||||Would recommend Tiznit for 2...
Read moreWas planning to stay here, but didn't bother calling ahead. It's supposedly the low season, so in the back of my mind I thought maybe it's empty and I can negotiate a better rate. Nope! There are only a few single rooms, and they were taken. So instead I paid 100dh for a double. Not great, but not the end of the world.||The room itself had both a single and a double bed, so theoretically could've slept 3. Included a plug beside the light switch, as seems to be the norm in the area. Window opens into a courtyard, but I was able to climb up and close it when I slept.||Not much more to it than that. A single toilet stall not far away. A shower and sink around the corner. There was always soap and toilet paper while I was staying there.||If you're coming from the bus station, you should find the hotel in the back-right corner of the square (which doubles as a giant parking lot), near what appears to be a...
