It is very hard for us to rate this hotel as it's not very good, but not average either.||||The location of the hotel is slightly better than of some other hotels. It's far from the city center like all other hotels, but close to a small shopping mall.||||Staff are friendly, breakfast is pretty good. The dinner at the hotel (if you don't want to spend a lot on a taxi it's basically the only place where you can eat) looks expensive at first sight (6 USD for a sweet and sour chicken). It turned out the plates were huge and meant for sharing. Considering that, it's not cheap but not as overpriced as we thought it was.||||As for the room, we had a basic room and basic it was. Mosquitos squashed on all the walls, floor plates got off. I think that if you would spend a little more money on the better rooms, you get a way better value for money ratio. Wifi was pretty good! ||||We explored the city by private taxi (pretty much the only way to do it). We used the service of Mr. Pyae Phyo Kyaw (email: righttimeppk@gmail.com, phone 09420747885). He was a great driver and waked us to all the spots! He also drove us to the bus station 2 days later. For half a day (5h) he charged the very reasonable amount of 40.000 kyat. The drive to the bus station was 5.000 kyat, which was less than other taxi drivers. If you need a driver for a short ride, or a half or full day, consider...

The hotel features a modern and clean design, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The rooms at Hotel Myat Taw Win are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning, comfortable beds, and functional bathrooms. While the furnishings are simple, they provide a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The on-site restaurant offers a good variety of local Myanmar dishes as well as international cuisine. The food is tasty, and the breakfast buffet is quite satisfying, though it could benefit from a bit more variety.
The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to nearby business centers, government offices, and tourist attractions in Nay Pyi Taw. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and meeting facilities, making it ideal for both short stays and business trips. However, the Wi-Fi speed can be inconsistent, which may be a minor inconvenience for those needing reliable internet access. Overall, Hotel Myat Taw Win offers good value for money, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant stay in...
Read moreOur office manager had booked standard rooms online at 40 USD per night for my colleagues and myself. The hotel lay out is spread out across a vast compound dotted with trees and plants, so you have to use a golf cart (driven by employee) or walk between room and main lobby. The standard rooms are worn-out, in the first room I had no switch at the bedsite to switch off the light, not enough sockets but the staff provided an extension cord with additional sockets; bathroom was ok, WiFi sufficiently fast and reliable. The breakfast is good, mainly Asian dishes. The biggest plus of Myat Taw Win Hotel is its location, with two shopping centers within short walking distance (across the road) and thus also access to several restaurants. Another plus is the staff, very friendly and helpful. Apart from having to stay in a shabby standard room in the 800, 900 room number area, I found it strange that we always had to pay for the rooms in advance. On a Sunday I had time to explore other hotels and found one with rooms much more acceptable but without shopping...
