This is a relatively new hotel. Wonderful location at the base of a mountain that seems like just a stone throw away. The staff (particularly Aung Ko Linn) were extremely accommodating and helpful towards our needs. Overall, a good hotel.||This hotel deserves a solid three-stars. Prior to our arrival, my burmese family tried to call the hotel many times on landline and mobile from 8pm to get an early check-in. However, the calls were never picked up and we decided to just leave Yangon since it could be a long trip. When we arrived at 5am, there was hardly anyone on site aside from the security guards. Fortunately, one of the security guard managed to get the manager, whom upon our persuasion, finally allowed us to have a cabin just to recover from the long trip, which I really appreciated. The manager, from what I heard from my family did not apologise for not picking up the calls and give excuses. The manager greeted me upon check-in, but she never conversed with me throughout my entire stay (mind you, I was the one who made the booking). So I appreciated the bravery of other staff members that approached and asked if they could help. ||We eventually managed to check in into our respective cabins. The cabins were clean, and the staff kindly turned on the air conditioners before our arrival. Something again, that I greatly appreciated. My family and I recovered well every time we came back from trips.||Breakfasts were simple, and there were only three in the menu. There is definitely a lot of space for improvement in this area. I would appreciate using less plates for the continental breakfast (they served a plate for eggs, a plate for bread, a plate for jams/butter, a plate for meat etc). The table isn't that big for that many plates, and it is only for a person. The dinner menu was impressive! The food were delicious. The staffs at the restaurant were superb. ||They are still building something next to the restaurant. A lake? A river? I am sure that this hotel will live up to the reputation of her sister hotel eventually! Thank you so much for your service and...

My Hpa-An Residence by Amata, was the only pet friendly resort we could find and they looked after our cats as well as they looked after us. Its a about 20 cabins set in a rubber tree plantation with the big cliff face, rising above you. The pool is ideally located and I spent a fair time lolling about watching the surroundings.||||The room was large and very comfortable, everything was clean and worked well.
