Stayed here for 3 nights. Welcome was good, received a welcome drink. Room was ready early. Really nice room, bed very comfortable and nice bedding. Bathroom was nice good and hot shower. All very clean. WiFi was annoying only given 2 log ins and you need 1 per device per day. We asked for more and were given them. Breakfast was poor, stale cornflakes and food was cold. No buffet on our last day. Not asked what we wanted just place lots of food on the table which we couldn’t eat. This hotel is very remote and there is basically nothing nearby. Staff booked our bus although took us 2 days to confirm this as they didn’t seem to know what was going on. Finally got confirmation on the evening before we were due to leave. It was expensive and we were put on a local minibus packed with too many people and we broke down. The bus was not even road worthy. Would...
Read moreHotel with attached bungalows set in an attractive garden. The individual wooden bungalows are spacious and very comfortable with a large seating area outside. Mosquitoes were a minor nuisance: bring coils! Bed has a large mosquito net. It’s a long way to town but it’s well worth it to be in a quiet, beautiful area. Tuktuk takes about 10min and cost us 4000k. No taxis driving past so ride has to be ordered by phone. But this seems to be the pattern anyway in this part of Myanmar. Hotel has an excellent restaurant serving Thai meals etc. Cheaper restaurants and bars are about 750m away. Really enjoyed staying here, one of the nicest place we’ve...

The room was spacious, had an A/C that worked well, and a flat screen TV on the wall (which only received about 13 channels, but 3 or 4 were English and 1 was HBO). The bathroom also had plenty of space, was clean and attractive. The shower was hot, but like in most of Asia was not separated from the rest of the bathroom by door or curtain. The breakfast was tasty as was the one dinner we ate in...
