Sincere Smile Hotel — Hotel in Nyaung-U District

This good Bagan hotel is definitively off since it lies so far away from the sites you can come in this small city. We have tried to walk from the hotel in the night with the risk of other lives to find restaurant. The road is narrow, no sidewalks, rather trafficked and badly lighted. This means that you must take a taxi to get from the hotel if you do not want to walk a lot in not so pleasant surroundings. So even if it not as dangerous to walk in daylight it is very long walk before you reach the sights. ||The hotel is quite nice with rather low buildings around a courtyard with a pool and the dining are. It looks very inviting, especially in the evenings. The rooms are not spacious considering that the hotel lies in a not especially populated area. Still they are OK even if I prefer not to be forced to shower in bath tub with high sides (especially my wife disliked that) and no shower curtain. However, there was another shower possibility since in the middle of the long wall there was also an overhead shower. This was no real alternative since if you used this you would have flooded the complete floor and splashed down everything in the bath room. Odd!||The breakfast was served in the nice court yard with the possibility to order your own omelette have it ready in a very short time. I would like to share my experience at Sincere Smile Hotel. A Good Hotel. Star . Star . Star . Star . Star We have been to Bagan in May. It was very happy family trip and we arrived to Sincere Smile Hotel near by Lawkanandar pagoda. There was a pool enough. Hotel location is particular place and quiet. Hotel rooms are large enough for family and friends. Fair price and wonderful service. 24 hours full air condition is very comfortable and very important for visitors to Bagan. Because, Bagan is very hot. Additional value added services are also available such as laundry service, massage, restaurant, home theater, meeting room, car rental and so on. Breakfast is also ready at the garden when you get up. This hotel is suitable for both local and foreigner family, friends group, office team building, office meeting and various purpose. Cool and hot water available for bathroom. Oh! WIFI free available here. It will facilitate to everyone.

I did like to have the breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel garden, in front of the restaurant. And It take only 7 minutes walk to Lawkanandar pagoda on the side of Irrawady river. Finally, all of the hotel staffs are very warmly and happy to provide service you and your family. I am sure to visit again....

This hotel in New Bagan offers everything you might need as an ordinary tourist for a budget price. It is built in red brick temple like style reminding you what you're seeing around.||The location is not that important in Bagan as everything is reachable in 5-10 min drive. It is close, walking distance to the main street of New Bagan with plenty of restaurants, shops and mini marts to stock cold beer for the room.||Rooms are spacious, but pretty basic, yet clean. Some decor in the rooms would elevate the impression. Choose a room with a small balcony overlooking the pool. Wifi worked fine.||Breakfast is a choose style, limited choice, no buffet, but again OK.||The pool is a big plus to cool down from the burning heat. Pros are: it's fair in size and it's in the shade in the afternoons with sunbeds and umbrellas around. Con is a strange acid feel of water in mouth and eyes???
