We stayed here for two nights with relatives and friends for a short time vacation in Myanmar. Overall, it’s nice hotel to stay, Hotel facilities are new as they opened in 2016. The hotel is pretty green, room are quite clean. They have nice view, outdoor swimming pool, indoor gym even though I didn’t use them. They look pretty good. ||Hotel staffs are pretty friendly, you will see their smiling face most of the time. One thing that what I like about is, they allowed us early check in at 10 am without extra charges.||But I had one problem with shower, the middle of taking shower, the hot/warm water were ran out and I had to finish it with cold water. ||So, if you plan to stay here especially with family member or partner, here is my advise, you don’t want to take a shower immediately the first person used it before you. The second person needs to wait for sometime in order to bowl the warm water. Otherwise you will end up with the cold water in the middle of showering like me. ||You can have Burmese asian foods at the breakfast station, but not that much western foods and others.||Internet Wifi speed is nightmare, you can’t even check your facebook status. So don’t be rely on their internet WiFi if you plan to work with computer internet. You better plan to hook your mobile data through hotspot. I believe, not only this hotel, most of the hotels in Myanmar, they don’t have strong...
Read moreBeautifull new hotel with great comfort compared to price ( we pay 37$ per room) In a country with high accomondation prices compared to quality this is great. A beautiful infinitypool in a lovely garden where you see the sunset around 6 o´clock. Nice sunbeds prepared with a fresh beachtowel every morning. A floor to roof window fitness sentre with high quality eqiupment. And friendly and helpfull staff also. They help us great when needed, bringing food to the room, caling busscompany for us, arranging early check in and late check out with a smile.||||the area is a great way to see a genuine and natural village not crowded by tourists.||||I would rate this hotel as a 4 star hotel trying hard to be of the highest quality. But it still has some possibilities to be better though:||||- The Swimming pool is freezing cold as it is not heated and night temperatures in the mountain drops in the winthermonths.||- The food is a bit boring and unpersonal with the use of fabricated pizza and sauses. ||- Lack of heating inside lobby and restaurant.||- Very short hotwater in the rooms. If several people are showering in same time of day you will miss it.||||If the hotel sort out this details I would give it a full score, and even now I would not hesitate to go back. This is just details in a hotel with great facilities in a charming, non- touristified village. Thank you for a...
Read moreWe stayed for only one night during a tour of the country. The hotel is very well located in beautiful grounds. Good reception staff and concierge service. Lovely pool and sunbed area. On-site spa and gym (reasonably priced). The service in the restaurant in the evening was not the best, but the 'front of house' staff were very attentive. It was a quiet time of year, so maybe there were insufficient staff in the kitchen, but it took over an hour for a bowl of tomato soup (and I'm still waiting for the steamed rice!). Even with a group of 12 of us, I would have expected quicker service. Orders arrived at random during the evening, with no correlation between who ordered what, in what order. Desert before starter is not ideal! The manager was spoken to, but by then it was all a bit too late. i hope they address this issue for future guests, as it was the only thing to prevent this hotel from getting a 5star rating from me. As we were tired after a day of bike riding, we were not intending to leave the hotel during the evening, but if we had been, it would have been a bigger problem for us. The food was okay when it did arrive, but not as good as in other hotels we used. The hotel is trying to be a 'high end' establishment, but needs some improvement before it can compete at that level. *we travelled in March, but Trip Advisor defaults to todays date for...
