Inle Cottage Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Taunggyi District

Me and my friend stayed in this place to visit Lake Inle and we have been very happy about the choice.|The staff was very helpful during the booking and their English was very good. they also assisted us prior the arrival to arrange the pick up at the airport (25000kyats) and also the boat trip at the lake (22000 kyas for 2 people). The boat trip driver could speak also some English and was very helpful with us. ||The bedroom / small cottage are very cute and nicely curated. The only note is that there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom so if you are travelling as friend there is no much privacy in the bathroom.||The breakfast was included and it was very good and there are 5 sets of food to choose from, from continental to more Asian option.||I really do suggest this place in case you are...

Don't go there. They don't have electricity. They've got a generator but they don't turn it on unless you tell them or it's pitch dark. In the middle of night, there's no power so if you want to go to toilet you need a torch! Worse than that, you don't get a decent hot shower...10 minutes if you're lucky and then it gets cold. Apart from that, the front desk lady by the name of I guess Wooween charged me almost double for a ticket to another city. I only found out when I was on the bus. I'm happy to chip in extra money to help them but not be ripped off like this. Don't buy anything from them as they mostly would charge you double the actual price or at least ask around first. An amazing hotel with super friendly staff. It's just one year old. The bungalows are made of wood and are very beautiful. The sanitation (bath/toilet etc.) is very nice, according to western standards. Breakfast is set menu and not buffet. There you can choose from several menus, but also combine. But you shouldn't be in a hurry at breakfast, because it could take some time in the morning dependent on the number of guests. Thr restaurant is very nice, on the roof top. You can also have dinner there, but we didn't try. At the hotel there you can get bicycles without charge. A good possibility to get to know the town.
