Mango Hill — Hotel in Yangon

Location Approximately 10 min of car ride from Yangon International Airport.

Accommodation Room is clean and spacious with a king size bed and plenty of space for luggage. There is a attached toilet. Drinking bottled water is available and replenished frequently. Quiet environment for a good night sleep. Scenery is lacking though.

Service Staffs are friendly, professional and helpful. Able to converse in English. They are very attentive to the needs of the guests.

Food Tried the traditional Burmese food. Nicely prepared and presented. The food tasted good too.

Transportation Private car hiring can made through the staffs.

We had a really nice stay at the Mango Inn. The service is great, the staff is super friendly, the room from the top room category is great, it has a view into the "defining" mango tree in the garden. In contrast to downtown Yangun, this is a pleasantly quiet place. Also the breakfast in the garden stands out. The only downside to the hotel is that it is closer to the airport than to Yangun center. Be aware that the trip to the center by taxi can take more than an hour in bad traffic conditions. When we chose Mango Hill Hotel for a stop in Yangon we did it because it's rather close to the airport and we had an early flight next day. When we arrived there we fell right away in love with it because it's a oasis of peace in a very busy town.
