Australian Camp Dhampus Village Tour starts after hot breakfast in Pokhara, an hour smooth drive from Pokhara takes us to Kande, the starting point of this short trekking of Australian Camp and Dhampus Village trek. This is an easy village tour of 1 night 2 days for the amazing experience luxury holidays near Pokhara valley. Australian Camp set on the beautiful hill top offers striking views over the valleys and stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range. After driving about an hour, we start our hike from Kande. The trail is steep; through stone staircase for about 1.5 hours gets to Australian Camp, located on the ridge and having an incredible view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre and Lamjung Himal. From Australian Camp we will hike down to continue through perfect jungle trail with birds chirping sounds our trek to continues to beautiful village Dhampus, takes about an hour. Australian camp is also known as THULAKHARKA. This place is really nice.you can see almost 7 snow mountains from this point. Annurnapurna south ,fishtail , himchuli , annurnapura 3 and 4th and some others mountains are mountains which you can see from here including nice view of sunrise and sunset. You can see kade and other villages from this point. If you are wander about how far it is from Dhampus , it is about 2-2:30 hours treak.once you start walking from dhampus you will start to see different kinds of trees and walking route is so peaceful and nice. While starting walking from dhampus make sure to have some candy and snacks on the way as you are going to walk through jungle where you wont find and shop but once you reach Australian Camp there are very nice resturants. Price is a bit expensive in comparison to pokhara city but that price is deserving as it is on the high hill. For the night stay among lots of restaurants and hotels I will suggest you all to stay at ""SUNRISE TENT RESORT AND RESTAURANTS "" as you will Experience something new i.e. you will get tent to spend night on exact view point. Tent house is not expencisve . Cost of tent house is only RS 800 for 1 tent where 2 peoples can sleep comfortably and they also provide nice blankets so you won't feel cold.
